"Oww! Can you please be more gentle?" I asked. He just grunted. "If you were sensible enough, you would not trip over a small rock, un" Deidara said. Great, now he's scolding me. He held the cotton with newly put ointment and swab it on my wound. "Itai! It hurts!" I cried. "Don't be so OA; it's just a scratch, un" he said. "But-but, it hurts!" I whined. Sure it hurts. "Don't you know that the smaller the wound, the more painful it is?" I reasoned out. Oh yeah, I'm so smart. "Oh really? All we need to do is rip it open, un!" He said sadistically. "What?! No way! I mean never mind. Actually it's getting better", I said nervously. Damn this man. "Alright, it's finished", he announced while putting up the supplies back to the med kit. "Deidara?" He turned to face me. "What, un?" he asked. "Thanks a lot" I said while grinning. He smiled back, "don't worry"
I stood up, ignored the pain and hugged him. I think I startled him because he almost dropped the med kit he was holding. "Iwa?" he asked. "Now I remembered why you are my best friend" I whispered. He hugged me back. "I love you I wa, now rest un" he whispered back.
We're used to saying I love you at each other because we were really best friends ever since I joined Akatsuki. I remembered the first day, no one would talk to me and I was at least a bit scared. I was feeling lonely and emo. He walked to me and stuck a hand and said, "Hi, I'm Deidara and you are?" I gladly accepted it and replied, "Iwa, nice meeting you." "Iwa, un? That's where I came from!" he said happily. I guess it was my name that interested him in the first place. I thought he was a girl but soon found out that he was a boy. After the discovery, nothing changed our closeness.
We became partners in mission, well sometimes because he was originally paired with Sasori-danna and me with Tobi. We sometimes changed partners. Because of our closeness, members often regard us as couples, lovers, siblings etc. Well, were sort of kind, uh, siblings. We really get along with each other well. I loved his works and he also loved mine. I do painting and we often paint his clay sculptures together when there's no mission. But being me, I'll tell you a secret about Deidara. Don't you ever tell anyone because he'll blow me up with a C4 bomb, okay?
Do you know that he keeps grooming his hair? Yes, he spends hours for it. No wonder it's so silky and soft. But he never does that in the presence of other members, only with me. And do you know, he likes ketchup in his bread? Hell yes, its soo gross coz he'll eat it in front of me. I asked him if he feels like puking out but he said no. There's more! Do you know he danced so well and he also have a nice voice? We sometimes ding duet because I have a nice voice too. We will suddenly sing during the akatsuki meeting. The beautiful blending of voices can be quite hair-raising that we can postpone the meeting! That was fun because it was soooo boring anyway. Do you know that he has a cute stuffed teddybear? It's so cute that I can't even think of having it in my bedroom. And do you know that he's been prohibited to cook in the kitchen? Hah! Leader was so angry because he almost burned the whole kitchen and we have to buy food for almost a month, much to Kakuzu's dismay. And the last one, oh I think he's coming back! I can hear him!! Do you know the secret behind his long fabulous hair? He grooms it and flaunts it because he thought it's like Barbie's! He even said it was way better than my dolls' hair. It really pisses me off. He said he won't cut it. He really wants to spend his days pissing me. Oh no, he's there! I need to act that I'm sleeping! Bye!!
