Not Ready to Make Nice by Luvscharlie
"Bah, Moony! It's not so bad as all that moaning and carrying on that you're doing."
Remus attempted to roll and look at him, which caused him to jar his broken leg and made him howl in pain.
"Not that bad?! Not that bad?! I knew better than to get on that bloody flying death trap of yours."
Sirius rubbed his chin as he pondered. "You know, I'm still rather surprised you did that myself. You know, everyone acts as though I'm the reckless one, and then you don't even buckle yourself into the sidecar. What were you thinking, Moony?"
Remus bit his lip in frustration. "I think it's safe to assume that I had no idea you were going to do a—what did you call it?"
"Well, I call it a donut, but you know, that always seems a tad inaccurate. You know, it's more of a rollover in the air and—"
"That was a rhetorical question, you dumb arse! Come a tad closer and I'll show you a rollover, you idiotic, self-centered—"
"Testy, testy! If I'd known you were going to be so grumpy about it, I would never have offered you a ride." Sirius shook his head and wagged his finger. "At any rate, I'm off to James and Lily's for the Christmas party."
"Good. You can inform James that if I'm able to walk by the next full moon, I plan to eat you."
Sirius let out a shocked gasp.
"He should start looking for a new best friend straight away," Remus continued.
Sirius exited the room muttering under his breath about ungrateful lovers, and finding himself another boyfriend.
"Good luck with that," Remus shouted at his back. He heard the door slam and Sirius was gone… for a moment.
Sirius hung back in the doorway of the bedroom a moment looking sheepish. "Okay, I apologise for dumping you out of the motorcycle because you were too much of a moron to strap yourself in. There now. I've apologised. Come to the party with me.
"That's the best apology you can manage?" Remus asked incredulously.
Sirius winked and reached for the button of his trousers. "No, I can do much better than that, but we'll be late."
Remus put his hands behind his head and leaned back. "When has being on time ever been one of your priorities? You may begin apologising now. I'll let you know when you're forgiven."
