Nao and Akiyama stand on the hill, over-looking the ocean.
"Akiyama… um… I have something to admit to you."
"Hmm? What is it?"
"I like you Akiyama. A lot."
There was silence. Akiyama looked at the ground. As if telling her to continue, or it would be hopeless.
She continued. "I know, I'm just Naïve Nao, but I trust you with my life Akiyama-san. You were there for me when no one else was. Even I doubted you in some moments. You never failed me. Not once. I have grown quote attached to you. I don't want to see you leave. I want to be able to stay by your side."
Silence again. Akiyama didn't move from his spot. Nao cast down her gaze and took a deep breath. When she looked up Akiyama was standing over her, like he had done during the final stage of Liar Game. Her heart beat loudly, she was sure he would hear it. He reached out to caress her lips just as he had done back then.
He let his hand fall. She knew he would do that.
"Why do you have a look of disappointment?"
Nao's eyes widened. "Well-"She looked up quickly.
Akiyama swiftly caught her chin and pulled it up to his face.
Their lips locked. Nao was caught off guard and was pulled along for the ride. She hadn't expected him… to be… so passionate.
She placed her hand behind his head to pull him closer for an even deeper kiss. He pulled her closer as well. His lips felt better than she had imagined. She hadn't like him for very long but during the last game she fell for him.
As soon as their lips broke contact Akiyama went in for another one. Then again. And again. Repeatedly kissing her lips, Seemingly becoming more passionate. Then they broke apart.
Akiyama smirked. "I've been waiting to do that for a long time"
Nao looked up at him confused. "Eh?"
Akiyama rolled his eyes innocently and started slowly walking away.
"Akiyama-San…"
Akiyama stopped and slowly turned back around. "I meant what I said."
"But… why didn't you tell me?"
He gave her that 'really?' look and walked back to her. "Because I didn't know if you liked me back. And there were other priorities at the time."
Nao smirked. "I see… Well, now that you know" She looked at him with playful eyes. "What are you going to do? Akiyama-san?"
Akiyama reached for her hand and give it a soft kiss. "How about dinner, Miss Kanzaki Nao?"
Nao smiled again. "You got it!" She grabbed his hand and started walking to town.
"Ah! Wait a minute… what food do you like Akiyama-San?"
He just smiled. "We'll go wherever you want."
Nao got a concentrated look on her face. "Oh…kay…" as she began to ponder.
They were walking away from the madness of the Liar Game hand in hand. Sun had begun to set behind them. Just as Akiyama had hoped they would. Then he remembered something.
"By the way, Nao"
She looked up at him.
"Your lip gloss tasted better than I had imagined."
