A/N: I don't know why I wrote this. I got the idea while watching Episode II in a drive in at one in the morning. It's just for fun until I update my other story.

This was the only place he knew there would be comfort, and relief. He had never been there before, but there was something about it. Fixing things, it always seemed to have it's way. Now, he couldn't concentrate, in all fairness, not an hour ago, his mother died in his arms. Anakin killed every sand person he saw in his view within five minutes flat, he knew they deserved it at the time, now it was nothing but guilt. " I just heard" Calin, one of Anakin's closet friends from long ago was standing in the doorway behind him, he felt her presence. The two met when he was fourteen and she was only ten. They trained together for years, and a certain bond grew. Something he would never have with Padme, and never wanted, " Annie, I'm so sorry". " Do you think it's wrong? That I killed them because they killed my mother" Anakin knew that Calin knew, they always knew what the other was thinking. She moved closer, he still didn't turn, " no, you were angry. They are evil people, the children will grow to be like them, and the women are the ones who bare them from birth, like your mother did with you". " If only I went sooner, when the dreams first starter, I could have saved her, and she would still be alive. I would still have a mother". Calin wrapped her arms around his waist, when close enough, pressing her body against his, " you haven't had it very easy Anakin, and it's not fair. You don't have a father, you had to leave your mother at such a young age to live with strange people you did not know. Maybe it was your lifelong dream, but deep down inside, you knew something was missing. And when you found it, it died, right before you, and it forced you to do some horrible things". " You're wrong" he rested his hands over hers, " what was missing didn't die". ' Why is he in denial? He already admitted his mother's death' Calin thought, she should have known they were not private. She felt him sigh, " it sounds weird, but that's what it was at first. We were so young, not to mention that you were four years younger to begin with". Though she had a strong feeling of what he meant, she needed and wanted him to say more. Signaling him, Calin moved her hands higher onto his chest. " I-I cant explain it.". " You have Padme" those words could have ruined whatever chance there was, but there was no honesty without them. " Don't bring her up, it's been ten years, and that's never going to change, it's nothing more then some nine-year-old on a desert planet". Calin felt the depression, in her mind, and in her touch. She let go, walking around him to where she could see her face, then replacing her arms around his neck, allowing access for Anakin to rest his head on her shoulder. Softly crying, she was the only person he could cry in front of, but, this was the first time Calin saw him. Calin ran her hands down his back, fingers tracing his spinal cord. Anakin relaxed more and more by her touch, letting his own hands roam her back. " I love you, I know it sounds pathetic, but I do, I really, really love you" he cried onto her cloak. She felt a sudden electric shock run through her body and ringing at her brain, urging herself to tighten her embrace around him. Calin turned her face, she was facing his right cheek, pressing her lips softly. " I love you too" she whispered.
