Hey alls. This is kinda a one-shot. I was just thinking, okay?! Yeah, I know. Me. Thinking. A very dangerous combination, right? Oh! On to the story:

Starfire lay in her bed, listening to the sounds around her. Beast Boy was next door talking in his sleep, and Cyborg was snoring across the hall. Her other two friends made no noise, and she silently thanked them for it. Star got up and walked to the wall; she put her ear to it, listening to his mumblings.

"...told you...I don't want it...vegetarian..."

"He is strange," she said as she pulled away. "This is the fourth night of this week that talking and loud throat-breathing has prevented me from sleeping. Maybe I shall go to the couch."

She floated drowsily down the stairs, only to find Robin in her spot. "Oh, now where shall I go?"

"Starfire?" Robin asked groggily as he sat up slowly. "What are you doing?"

"I cannot sleep. Beast Boy and Cyborg are being loud, so I came to sleep on the couch."

"Sorry Star, but my room is next to Cyborg's." He yawned and scratched his head. "Try Raven's room. She might let you in."

"Thank you, Robin!"

"Sure...whatever," he replied as he fell back onto the pillow.

Star flew back upstairs, anxious for rest. She knocked on Raven's door but, remembering that it was night, quietly opened it. I cannot see anything. Green light appeared around her outstretched hand; glowing eerily, it lit a small circular section of the darkly decorated room.

Suddenly, her light went out. "What is happening?" she asked, slightly above a whisper.

"You're in my room," Raven croaked. "Why?"

"I am looking for a quiet place. You do not sleep next to Beast Boy's or Cyborg's rooms, so you do not hear talking or loud throat-breathing." She walked a few steps toward where she heard her friend's voice, but bumped into a wooden desk. "Ouch!"

"Her green light reappeared as Raven said, "And the couch?"

"It is taken by Robin." She made her way slowly to Raven's bed.

"I don't have any other furniture. Could you settle for the floor?" Starfire looked awful, and Raven knew she needed sleep.

"Oh, most definitely!" Star jumped up and down, clapping her hands with joy. "I will get my blanket and pillow. Thank you, friend Raven!"

When she returned, Raven's light was on and she was standing by a desk. "You can sleep here. But if you wake me up, you're out."

"Glorious!" Starfire put her things down as Raven climbed back into her bed. "Maybe we could sleep over and paint nails!"

"Uhh..."Raven was a little confused. "Didn't you want to sleep?"

"Well, yes. But we could paint the sharp pieces of metal first and then sleep."

Raven glanced at her clock, which read 11:36. "No. I need sleep, you need sleep, and I don't do sleepovers. Goodnight," she said, and the light when out.

"Goodnight, friend Raven, and I thank you for—"

"Go to sleep, Starfire!"

Yeah, it was kinda stupid, but I needed something to post while my puter is dead. Update on that: I still haven't found the start-up disc. :P So, whether you liked it or not I don't care. I must need to feel like I'm contributing something.
