The dribbling of the ball can be heard inside the Shohoku's gym. Akagi was busy preparing his team for the upcoming game, a reason why his team needs to work harder. He have no trouble to them, only to a certain red-haired one though (Guess who?). He sighed in defeat. Sakuragi is really a guy like THAT.

Ten minutes have passed, Akagi called off for a break, he too, needed some water. He watched as each of his team tiredly settles off to the seats. Sakuragi being approached by Haruko with a towel in hand, handing it to her boyfriend (Yeah, they ARE couples.). While the vice captain, along with the other players, are sitting and talking about different topics.

"Yeah I heard that one,"

"About what?"

"Really! You did that?"

"Hahaha… Hope next time it'll be better,"

And so on. But this only one caught not only Akagi's attention, but everyone in the gym. YES! Everyone!

As soon as they heard a sweet voice, they all turned their heads around. And what they have seen surprised them. A cute girl, who is a wearing Shohoku's PE uniform and her hair in a ponytail, was there talking to Rukawa.

"Rukawa? The cold-hearted guy, was talking to agirl?!" They all thought of it. (Except for Sakuragi and Haruko, who set them up for a date)

All of them pretended to do their works, but have their ears on what Rukawa and the girl were talking about.

"Kaede-kun, did you eat lunch already?" The girl asked, not aware that the whole gym was listening to them.

"Iie. Why Sakura-chan?" He replied shortly.

"Well... I want to ask if you wanted to join me. Will you?"

"Of course I will. You know I can't refuse. Koibito," Rukawa said in his usual monotone voice, emphasizing the word 'koibito' for everyone to hear. While Sakura, became speechless and was already blushing beet red to what he had said. Then, Rukawa walked to his seat to where his bag is, approached Sakura, and then held her hand. The couple walked towards the gym door, on the way to the canteen.

They waited for them to leave. And when they have surely left, Akagi jumped up from his seat, to the shock of the team. And that's when he faced Haruko. "Who is she?"

"Oh! That is Yoshio Sakura. She is the daughter of a business man. She lives near Rukawa's house. She also studies here too. She plays basketball too." Haruko replied while smiling in front of his brother.

"That's not what I mean! I mean who is she in Rukawa's life?"

"Well... We kinda set them up for a date with him. And they developed and ta-da! They are now couples." She replied again, sending another bigger smile towards Akagi.

This left the whole gym speechless. "It is the end! No, Rukawa with a girlfriend?! This is what everyone has in their minds. Others are almost laughing, while others just can't believe it. In the end, they just all sighed and left one by one to have lunch too.

But they didn't know, is that Akagi was secretly saying, "Way to go, Rukawa."
