Okay, this is in my persepective of how Buffy could've died.
I DON'T THESE CHARCTERS
"BUFFY!" Spike shouts out, as Buffy looks down at her stomach, which is bleeding, a lot.
"Spike…" she barley whispers before she starts to fall. Spike rushes to her and catches her before she hits the floor. He doesn't even watch The First crumble into ashes.
"Buffy… I…We did it…." Spike gently lowers her to the floor, and cradles her in his arms, not knowing what to say.
"Spike, is it bad?" She asks, looking up at him, taking shallow breaths.
Spike looks down at her stomach and winces. Her shirt is soaked in blood, the hole is inches apart. He looks back at her, and he can tell she's trying to conceal her pain. " No." Lying to her is hard.
Buffy starts to look down, but Spike pulls her head up, and looks into her eyes. " Don't, love, it's better if you don't look." Buffy looks at Spike's face deeply, then nods, understanding. They just sit there, Spike holding Buffy, rocking her back and forth. Buffy leaning her head against Spike's chest, breath getting shorter. All there feelings, not spoken but felt, being shared between them.
"Spike? Am I dying?" Buffy asks, a tear escaping her eye. Spike lifts his hand to her cheek and wipes the tear away, ignoring the ones trying to fall down his own cheeks.
" I don't know love." Yes. Spike slams his eyes, trying to hold back the tears. He does know. " I don't want you to." It takes all his strength to get that sentence out evenly.
"Me neither, Spike. I want…..I want to stay…..with you." Buffy coughs, blood dribbles down her chin. She brings her hand up to wipe it away. " I need to stand…..I need to get up…" Buffy tries to get up, but she can't. " I need to….to be…alive.." She starts to cry hard, making her breathing harder. " I need to stay…awake.." Spike realizes that she's been trying to fight unconsciousness from loss of blood. "Spike I…..I feel weaker…..I'm dying…." Buffy keeps crying, filled with terror.
"No pet, just sit with me. We'll wait for the others, they'll be here soon…..they will help you…and, they, they will..." Spike can't finish with the huge lump in his throat . Buffy stops and turns her head to face Spike.
"You, you really do care?" Buffy asks him, looking into his eyes. He nods his head, holds Buffy once more. Their tears mingle as he bends down and kisses Buffy. The most sensual, passionate, sweet, and loving kiss that they have shared. They brake away, Buffy now not able to move. " Spike….I.." Buffy starts to lean back, her body beginning to go limp. Buffy doesn't look afraid anymore, ready for what's coming now, realizing that there's no stopping it. " I love you." She whispers. Then she closes her eyes. " I love you."
And she was gone, not ever going to come back, not ever going to spit vile words at Spike, or kind ones. Spike, looks at Buffy's unmoving face, and places a kiss on her forehead. Then he gently lays her on the floor, and slowly stands up, eyes not moving from her face. Not even noticing Dawn run past him and to Buffy's side. Or that Jiles, tears in his eyes as hewalks up to Dawn whose screaming Buffy's name. Or that Willow is sitting on the other side of Buffy, crying frantically. Spike just turns around and walks out into the night. Then he suddenly just starts to slowly sing as he walks to the grave yard.
"You are my sunshine, my only sunshine, You make me happy,… when skies are grey, you'll never know dear… how much I love you… Please don't take my…sunshine...away." and he cries, as hard as he could.
