What would happen if Jack opened a different door? Another door, another holiday, another world.

Jack was depressed. He was sick of the same old holiday, even though it was his own. He wished he could find something new. "It's always the same. Year after year. Nothing ever changes" Jack said sadly. Then the mayor showed up. His happy face was on, unlike Jack's. "Hey Jack! I thought we could get started on next years Halloween celebration. Remember, only 364 days to go!" "I kind of just want to take some time off" Jack said with little confidence. The mayor's face immediately spun around. "Take time off! Jack, you're the Pumpkin King!" the mayor said in an uproar. "Please," said Jack."I need some time alone." " I hope this time alone is time you're thinking about next Halloween" the mayor said as he stormed out of the house. Jack sat alone in silence until he decided to go to the cemetery hill. He always felt more comfortable there. Jack slowly walked, tossing a coin to the instrument players who, like Jack, seemed to be in a sad mood too. Finally Jack got to the cemetery. He walked up the hill. The moonlit night was striking, as always. "Always the same" Jack said. A glowing light of in the distance made a obvious sign that it was Zero. Zero held his bone that told Jack that he wanted him to throw it. Jack threw it with all his might, taking all his anger out with it. Zero whimpered. Even for a ghost, where Jack threw it was way too far. Jack and Zero sullenly walked together searching for the bone. They used the moonlight as a way to guide them. Finally, after walking nearly a mile, Jack came along a clearing in the forest. In it were trees, each with a picture of an object. On one trunk, the one that interested Jack the most, was a picture of a heart. "What a peculiar object" Jack said. An as Jack turned the knob of the tree trunk door, he fell into complete darkness.
