"Rumour has it you took on a lion with your bare hands."
Subaru Imai jumped slightly, spinning on his heel before recognising the speaker.
"What are you talking about Sakurano?"
"Several people have claimed that you found yourself battling a lion and a rhinoceros, among other beasts, during the Reo incident. I have Hayami tracking down the footage for me," the blond replied, walking over to his desk, "I wondered if as the ex-council-president of the time I could receive an explanation as to what prompted such unprecedented actions."
The bespectacled young man frowned, uncertainty nagging at him, "I was indeed involved in the attempts at controlling the escaped animals the Nogi had set upon the students."
The other teen nodded, a smirk tugging at the corner of his mouth, "And the lion…" he prompted, "That is the detail I'm struggling to gain information on."
"I was aptly positioned to intervene when the younger students were endangered and my Alice was most useful as I needed only to make contact with one of the animals to disarm them."
"So you did go hand to hand with a Lion and a Rhinoceros?"
"In a fashion – there we're many children from the elementary class there and I simply took the actions needed."
The look on his blond comrade's face could almost be described as a grin as he walked towards the door, "Thank you for confirming that fact for me Imai. I shall have to go and hurry along Hayami or possibly make a request of your sister for the evidence. After all I wouldn't want to run the risk of the footage spreading past the likes of myself should it provide an opportunity to see you dishevelled."
