I'm baack! Here's part two! I'm gonna make the chapter's shorter or longer, depending on my mood. This chappy will be short.

The Beginning of the End

Adam's POV

It all started the day Coach called us all back to the rink. This was insane. Coach was rounding us all back up again, a summer wasn't even over yet. So there I was, standing around with the guys and wondering why we were missing a few players. Well, everyone had managed to show up except for Wynry and Jesse. And strangely enough, Coach began without them.

"I would like to welcome you all back, and I would like to say how proud I am of you all, and-"

The door burst open, and a disheveled Wynry entered. ''Sorry I'm late," she apologized. "Please, continue.

"I would like to say that you will all be receiving full hockey scholarships to Eden Hall Academy," he finished. "The press ceremony is this weekend. I hope you all feel welcome at my alma mater."

That was it? He called every one of us down here like the world was going to explode, only to tell us that we were getting free rides to high school? And to Eden Hall, no less? I loved this man!

So, Wynn and I were walking home when she said, "Don't you think it's strange how Jess didn't show up? I wonder what's wrong."

I shrugged. "I dunno. I hope nothing happened. "Changing the subject, I asked her what she did over summer break. "I went to Texas with my friends and family. We drove in these RV's that were so cool. Maybe this fall, I'll go visit Gia." She suddenly linked her elbow with mine and smiled. That's when I noticed she had cut her hair.

Her hair was still the longest I had ever seen, and she was only missing about an inch, but somehow, I still noticed. "Nice haircut," I commented. Wynn smiled. "You think so? I was so angry when they cut off my hard work, but it actually looks pretty nice, don't you think?"

I nodded. "It looks perfect."

Wynn shoved her sunglasses up the bridge of her nose as we approached her house. "I'll see you later?" she said uncertainly. I kissed her cheek and whispered, "It's a date."

Who knew my life would get so hectic so fast?

Wynry and I went out later that night to go see a movie. She had insisted that we go and see a movie. It was like our first unofficial date. I picked her up at her house around six, and gods, she looked so pretty coming down the stairs. Just like in those movies.

She was wearing a Hawaiian-print babydoll yop and stown-washed blue jean Capris. Her hair was up in a ponytail, and she wore blue sandals on her feet, and her signatur sunglasses on her face. We said goodbye to her family before leaving.

Things went great right from the start. We went to go see Fifty First Dates, and we laughed throughout the whole thing. Then we went out to eat. We decided on pizza and ice cream. Wynn had wanted to pay, but I said, "I told you this was my treat. Don't worry about it." She smiled at me.

As we approached her door afterwards, I had wanted to kiss her, but seeing her three older brother Matt, Mark, and Andrew, glaring at me and making wordless threats from the window, I kissed her cheek instead. "Goodnight," I said.

She kissed my cheek in return. "Goodnight, Adam," she said softly. Then she scurried into the house, and I waked home in a daze. I entered my room and sank down onto my bed, a goofy smile on my face.

That night, I dreampt about what our future kids would look like. They would have black hair and brown eyes, or brown hair and sea green eyes. I saw the future Mrs. Adam Banks, and I liked it.

Mrs. Wynry Banks. I like the sound of that.
