Alrighty, so this is the first story I've written in several years. Please give me criticism and feedback! I have no warnings yet, and this story won't rate over T. It was a request from my best friend, so I will be regularly updating or she'll kick my ass! Here we go!

Sora felt weightless as she propelled herself into the air. She stared at the crowd around her; all of them were speechless. She lifted her head and realized how high up she was. The colors and the

stunned faces of the crowd and usual noise of the circus disappeared round her until the only sensation she felt was pure light. It was as if she were an actual angel, hoisted up onto the clouds and

bathed in sunlight. A smell reached her. It was the smell of the sweets her mother made when she was little and the house she lived in. She could almost see her mom's face, and then the world returned

to her.

Earthly concerns and sensations filled her as she sank. At first, she felt a sharp pangof loss, but the thrill returned to her. She felt pride swell in her as she realized that she'd done what she had meant

to do: she'd completed the Angel's Maneuver, and she beamed as she returned to Leon's arms. As they swung back to their place, she observed him. Leon's face had softened considerably since they'd

first net; his eyebrows, which were normally cocked at a condescending angle, were drawn back in an expression of mid admiration. If Sora had to guess, she would've bet that he was thinking of his

sister and how happy she would've been to see him here, performing. She watched the other performers clamber onstage and start their acts. She'd finally performed on a perfect stage.
