Meagan was having a very bad day. Her alarm didn't go off, so she was late for work, her desk had paperwork piled miles high, she lost a bet with Colby and had to pay him ten dollars, and to top it all off, there was a serial killer on the loose.

Needless to say, she was not in a very good mood. The only thing that kept her going was the thought of the brownie she was going to have for her snack. And when she took out said brownie, there was no way she was letting a little curly-haired nerd take it away from her. So when said nerd reached a hand out to grab her precious morsel of chocolatey goodness, she slapped his hand away.

Charlie sighed. "But, Meagan, I need it to demonstrate-"

"No! Why don't you use Colby's snack?"

"Because, Megan," said Granger, amused. "I don't have a snack."

It was true. His desk was noticeably devoid of any food.

She leveled at him the frostiest glare she could manage, which at that moment was pretty icy indeed. "Do you really want to mess with me right now?"

Colby just chuckled, although he had do admit she did look quite intimidating. Not that he'd ever tell anyone that, of course.

In Megan's distraction, she did not notice Charlie reaching again for the brownie until it was already in his hand. When she did notice, she turned her glare to him, and he inadvertently backed up a step.

"Please, Megan?" He asked, giving her the puppy-dog eyes Don could deny nothing. Those eyes even worked on Colby. Fortunately for Meagan, she was frustrated enough that she had a brief immunity to his gaze. She still glanced away from him to be safe.

She held out her hand for the brownie, but he hesitated. "I just need it to show-"

But meagan had had enough. She raised her voice to an almost-shout. "I do not CARE if you are going to show us the meaning of life! If you keep stealing my food, I will tell Larry to tell Mildred to take you off the nerd committee! I want my brownie right now, and I will NOT let you keep stealing my food! If you do not give me that back RIGHT NOW, I will give all these fine people a Krav Maga demonstration you will NEVER forget, do you hear me! You should know that humans need food to live, and I need my brownie! GIVE ME MY SNACK!"

Slightly out-of-breath, Meagan looked around to see Don, David, Colby, and Liz staring at her, mouths agape with shock at her noisy outburst. She also noticed that Charlie had backed away from her to where he was up against the wall. His eyes were wide, and he held the brownie out to her with a shaking hand.

She took the brownie from him with a small, satisfied smile and a polite "Thank you." Sitting back down at her desk, she ate her snack and shuffled some papers as though she had not just intimidated the whole room into silence. Everyone just stood there, stunned, until finally Don cleared his throat and asked, "So, what is it that you were you saying, Charlie?"

The man in question rubbed his hands together and nervously inquired;

"Does anyone else have a snack?"
