Hey guys. KC is being quite nice at the moment, so I'm making the most of it lol. As always I own nothing *pouts*

Catherine Willows exited the Las Vegas Crime lab and crossed the parking garage, the clicking of her heels echoing loudly throughout the near empty structure. Her latest case had been a royal pain in the ass; lack of evidence had finally forced her to admit defeat and head home, wanting nothing more than a long hot bath with a glass of wine before sleeping well into the next day.
A loud metallic sound made her jump and spin to face the way she had come, eyes darting around to locate the source of the noise. Seeing nothing she shook her head at her own paranoia and resumed her journey towards her car, parked in one of the furthest corners of the lot.

Catherine was a few feet from her destination when she heard the unmistakeable sound of an engine being revved. Whipping round she squinted and brought a hand up to shield her eyes from the glare of the single headlight in the distance. The rider revved the engine a couple more times before releasing the clutch and speeding across the parking lot. After a few seconds Catherine's eyes widened in horror as she realised the motorcycle was heading straight for her and gaining ground fast.

She froze; there was no time for her to move out of the way to avoid being hit, so she brought her hands up to protect her head and squeezed her eyes shut, bracing herself for the painful impact. There was a deafening screech of tyres against the asphalt, but still the motorcycle didn't make contact with her. Slowly Catherine opened her eyes to see the rider had turned the bike at the last moment and was now idling in front of her.

It took Catherine all of two seconds to explode.
"What the hell do you think you're doing? Do you have any idea how dangerous that was?" She screamed at the figure clad in leathers and a helmet. "I've got half a mind to call the police and have you arrested you absolute brainless…" The rest of her rant died on her lips as the man removed his helmet and her eyes locked with a familiar pair of blue/grey ones.
"Did I scare you?" Detective Lou Vartann asked, a slight smirk playing across his lips.
"Scare me? You damn near gave me a heart attack you idiot!" she shouted, reaching out and smacking his shoulder with her right hand. He chuckled and rested the helmet on the handlebars of the bike. Catherine let her eyes run over the man in front of her, taking in the black boots and weather beaten leather jacket. Her pulse began to quicken as she noticed the leather pants, and the way the tight material clung to his legs and perfect ass. Her face flushed slightly as she brought her gaze back up to meet his.

"What's with the hog?"
"I've had it for years, but Hodges inspired me to get it out again."
Her eyebrow rose. "Hodges? On a motorcycle? I'm not sure whether to laugh or cringe at the thought of him wearing leathers."

Lou chuckled and wrapped an arm around her waist, pulling her towards him for a kiss.
"Although I think you should wear leather more often," she mumbled against his lips when the kiss broke, causing him to grin.
"Wanna go for a ride? I've got a spare helmet and we can pick your car up tomorrow."
"Let's go Easy Rider," she replied with a wink, stepping back a little and throwing one leg over the bike to seat herself behind him. Once she was settled she put the helmet on and flipped the visor over her face, obscuring it from view.

The engine roared to life beneath them and she scooted a little closer, pressing her body against his back as she wrapped her arms tightly around his waist. Lou revved the engine a few times before releasing the clutch, speeding out of the parking garage and away into the night.

Possible chapter two in the works soon.
