"Hey," Rose bumped my shoulder, a small smile twitching on her lips. I raised a brow, smirking a bit.

"Hello!" I responded, perhaps a bit to cheerfully. Glancing back at the console, I typed in a few things, then turned the knob and dialed a few more coordinates, pulling that lever and clicking the button on the left.

Something was wrong though. The knobs turned backward, the levers clicking out-of-place. I narrowed my eyes, a small growl escaping my throat.

"Doctor, what is it?" Rose whispered, trying to make eye contact with me. I was focusing too much on the console though to look at her.

Suddenly the TARDIS lurched, throwing us away from the console and on the dark grating. The landing knocked the breath out of me, and the crumbling, dusty debris of the chalky pillars weren't helping me get it back. I squinted, gasping, trying to make out Rose from the dust cloud in the TARDIS. She was crawling toward my direction, but she didn't seem too aware of where she was going, almost running into the console.

"Rose! Rose," I steered her toward me, and she gazed at me, wide-eyed and dazed. "You okay?" I asked, brushing a bit of her blonde hair from her cheek.

She nodded, looking around. "Yea, I'm fine... what happened?"

I tried to think of something, but I honestly had no idea what had happened either. "I... I really don't know, I was just dialing in coordinates for Raxon-9, but then... then..."

Rose lifted her brows, urging me to continue.

"I dunno, it was almost as if the TARDIS was yelling..." I started, but then a loud whirring sound emitted from downstairs, but ended abruptly. "... at me."

"Yelling at you?" Rose exclaimed. "But, why would she yell at you? Is that even possible?"

"I... I'm not sure, I guess so since she just did..." I stuttered, realizing the position we were in. She was laying between my legs, her hands on the grating behind me, holding my hands which were keeping myself steady. I cleared my throat, then nodded down at us.

"Oh, um..." she started, but I hushed her by pressing my lips to hers. She immediately quieted, leaning in toward me further. Another loud whirring called out from downstairs, breaking us apart from the snog.

"Right then! The TARDIS is probably... angry at me for some reason, and I'm sure she doesn't really appreciate us snogging in front of her," I stated, standing up and helping Rose to her feet. I dusted her off, resting my hands on her shoulders. "Anyway... I don't know where we ended up, but..."

"... If she really is angry, she probably took us somewhere not so good, and you want me to stay safe," she continued, sounding bored. "I knoooow, Doctor, you tell me almost every trip." A teasing smile tied to her lips.

I tugged my ear awkwardly, a bit embarrassed that she caught on. "Yeah... well, Allons-y then, eh?" I smirked, taking her hand in mine.

"Allons-y!" She responded brightly, skipping with me as we went for the doors.

What we faced was nothing like I had met in any of my lifetimes.
