Hi everybody,

I really wanted to write this for a long time, but just got around to it now.

Hope you enjoy!

P.S. I don't own anything Betty-related, which is an unfortunate circumstance.

Betty's POV

Her life must be perfect.

She's drop dead gorgeous. Every male member of our staff, excluding Marc, flirts with her on a daily basis. Even the delivery boys that pass through here can't stop staring. Heck, some of the celebrities we get in here flirt with her.

I know every time she walks down the street she gets the attention of every man she passes. If she had a dime for every time a guy asked for her phone number she'd be a multibillionaire.

She's the daughter of Fey Sommers, the most well-known editor in chief MODE has ever had.

She sang terribly at the Meade-Slater wedding and she still got praise for it.

She can fit into any skimpy little outfit she wants, and she looks great in it. The staff took a vote on the best looking employee who would get on the next cover, and she won with 99 of the vote.

When Justin's class came in, all the girls looked up to her as some kind of heroine. All of them claimed that they wanted to be just like her when they finished school.

She has bouts where she doesn't stop eating, but she still manages to be the best looking person at work the next day.

She has some kind of incredible charm that she can cast over everyone. Somehow she was able to charm Alexis into giving her permission to take something from the closest. She and Nick hate each other with all their might, yet he still found himself attracted to her.

She knows what its like to have everyone love her.

She's Amanda Tanen, and her life must be perfect.

Amanda's POV

Her life must be perfect.

She looks like she does, yet somehow she's the assistant to the editor-in-chief. Half of the magazine is often based on these unconventional ideas she comes up with, and become huge successes.

She can casually eat an enchilada, not caring about however many calories she may get from it. She just doesn't care. She doesn't care about what we might say about her, or about how she doesn't look anything like the models that stride through here all the time.

She's in love with her dream guy, and he loves her back, no ifs, ands, or buts. He chose her over this cute little redhead skank, even though she's carrying his baby. If only Daniel would look at me the same way he looks at her.

She grew up knowing her family. I thought I did, but looking back I see my parents were never really there for me, always running off to luxurious parties. On top of that it turns out that they weren't even my parents. My biological mother walked in front of my face every day and never spared me a passing glance. And I don't even know who my father is. She's always had the love of her father, and her sister and her adorable nephew. At least she knew her mom when she died.

Most of all, she's real. She's the kind of person you'll actually meet on the street and have a warm bubbly feeling after. She doesn't worry that her teeth aren't 100 straight, and her hair isn't equivalent to a chemical waste dump. She doesn't have to be afraid of melting in the sun cause of all these plastic implants.

She gains respect by working hard, instead of getting it by looking sexy. She's everyone's number one choice for help when they're working on a important project for the magazine.

She knows what it's like to have everyone love her.

She's Betty Suarez, and her life must be perfect.
