Interstellar

Stellar lights, shinning from afar
I yearn to hold you with my arms
If I only had a rocket ship,
I'd be there in a heart beat
And yet, you're still out of reach...

Stellar lights, somewhere in cold northern skies
I smile and closed eyes
I held you with me,
The blinding rainbows of brightness
Illuminates through my hands
As I set you free...

Far as my eyes could reach
I watched you leave
No matter how I grieve
I could only long for the warmth you bring
As time slips and slides by...

Stellar lights, you crossed my sky once more
Your brilliance overshadowed
My canopies of sadness
I feel you much closer now
But it's not the same...

How odd, to have grown and change
The warmth that overwhelmed me once
Is nothing but a bleak memory
Lingers in my body no more...

Would you run and cry?
I'd rather say goodbye...
So long my interstellar friend,
Until we meet again...

A/N: This poetry is all about 'Realization' sometimes in our lives we tend to be blinded of things, things that we thought were real and when we get to the part of letting go, it's hard and difficult to let go. We deny, we feed in the unreal and when we're so full... we throw up! like we were hit and kicked in the gut. I hurts so bad of course, we bruise and hide, and when we're fully healed. We now learn to fight, to reason and acknowledge the genuine things that were once overlooked.

and oh, remember the sparkly Edward? that's where I got my inspiration for this poem. Thanks fellas! Read & Review puhleeasse... : )
