King & Queen of Old
Where is the Ranger from the north?
I saw him riding towards a fort.
Where is the rider and his horse?
Crowned a king, with a crown of silver wings.
His wife, an Elf, and a Queen.
Their child, a son, the Evenstar Prince.
Where is the King from the silver halls?
I saw him last on the Northern walls.
210 years passed his face,
As he lay upon the silver stone.
Where now is the Elven Queen?
She has passed through the Mallorn Leaves.
Before the break of winter's cold,
She lay down on green stone.
She fell into deep sleep,
And is with the King of old.
Elven Prince is the King of the golden halls.
