A/N: hope you like my little random story.

"What?"

"Rodney. It's your turn," John snickered.

"To do what?" Rodney was pulled out of his reverie on just how intriguing the woman in front of him was.

"To pick a movie," the other man sighed, rolling his eyes at an amused Elizabeth.

"But….I don't want to. And besides, we've watched them all before."

"Fine. How about Back To The Future ?"

"What about just talking?" Elizabeth cut in, preventing the inevitable argument over which was better: Wizard of Oz or Back To The Future. Rodney had problems with the scientific base of the latter.

"About….?" Rodney gestured for her to elaborate.

"Anything. Everything. Whatever."

"I agree with Dr. Weir. Let us…talk," Teyla piped in agreement.

"Sure….let's talk," Rodney said sarcastically.

"Or…"John piped in, "We could just watch the movie I picked out." Rodney opened his mouth to retaliate.

"Dr. Weir," Teyla addressed Elizabeth quietly, "I have a….unique question."

"Yes, Teyla?"

"It is a somewhat personal question," Teyla gestured away from the arguing men.

"What is it, Teyla?"

Teyla took a deep breath, "What do you know of….love?"

"Love? To my knowledge, love is—" Elizabeth was cut off by Rodney's deafening voice.

"What! Are you serious?"

"Rodney, calm down! There's more in storage."

"But…..but….You drank the last cup of coffee!"

"We can always get more," John told him forcefully.

"But…."

"Rodney," Elizabeth cut in, "There's more. It's ok, really." She put a comforting hand on his arm, while restraining the urge to laugh in his face. Even Teyla snickered behind her hand.

"No," Rodney jerked away, "In order to stay awake and fix all the problems around here, I need my coffee!"

John sniggered but stopped as he looked at Rodney's dangerously narrowed eyes.

"And it doesn't help," Rodney continued, glaring at John, "If you guys keep mocking me!"

"Doctor," Teyla began cautiously, "I believe the Major—"

"John," the smirking man corrected.

She looked at him curiously, "John….I believe John is correct."

Rodney scoffed, "That's just because you like him." Elizabeth slapped him, lightly, across the stomach.

"Rodney," she warned.

"What…what? What'd I do?" he looked confused, though not entirely displeased, as to why she had hit him.

"Nothing," Teyla murmured; for the first time, she looked slightly embarrassed, with a tiny blush warming her exotic skin.

"Not that I can help you, but you need to learn tact!" John hissed. His eyes lit up with a certain mischievous glitter. "Or perhaps Elizabeth could teach you," he taunted.

"What? What does that have to do with anything?" Rodney shot back.

"Major! Doctor! That's enough!" Elizabeth intervened, "Rodney, we can get more coffee, I'm sure. John, that was a little too far." She gave the Major her best "Don't go there" look. He just smirked and folded his arms casually.

"So," Rodney said, breaking the silence, "What movie do we want to watch?"
