Issues

She had issues.

She got jealous really quick. She was passionate, to a fault. Her emotions teetered between depression to jubilation. There was no between.

She got angry and frustrated, mostly with him and his oblivousness. It was almost enough to push him away on several occasions. Almost.

But one thing she didn't do was judge. It was an extension of his generosity. He didn't judge either. He saw her at face value, a trait that was far too rare.

He had issues too.

He was always trying to fix everything, tweak it, make it better. And if it broke, it threw him off.

His thinking was electric, but the Ideas sometimes came too often and too quick. The ebbs and flows weren't uniform.

But to her, he was perfect.

They both had issues. She wished she could help face his with him. Alone, they were insurmountable. Together, they were nothing.

Yes, she had issues.

And the biggest one...was how much she needed him.

AUTHOR'S NOTE: Yes, don't we all have issues? I guess we just need someone to help shoulder them sometimes. Even if it can get...difficult.

...Listen, it's like 3 AM right now. I'm stuck at work. I'm thinking existentially. And I like the song. Sue me.

Some more stuff will be up over the weekend.

Read and review, if you like. Until next time, everyone.
