Leah POV:
"Lee! Leah! Wake up!"
Ugh! I sat up and rubbed my eyes to see Seth standing in my doorframe smiling at me. "What is it, Seth?" I asked.
"Leah, dad made more fish!" He whined.
"Ew!" I grumbled as I stood. After I got dressed, I fallowed Seth down stairs. Dad was sitting at the table with mom and they were eating more 'Famous Fish Fry'. More like 'Famous Fish-that-makes-you-Die'.
"Leah, honey, when do you think you're getting a job? With the low pay we get we could use-" Mom started to say as me and Seth sat down.
"Mom. Shut. The. Hell. Up. I'll find a job when I find one!" I snapped.
"LEAH CLEARWATER! Do NOT talk to your mother in such a tone!" Dad snapped back. I stood up, my chair flying backward.
"Dad, you're not even a father to me OR Seth! All you do is fish! Fish! Fish! Fish! Why don't you get a damn job!? I take care of Seth more then you two do! Whatever. I hate this family." I stormed out the house.
I need some air. That's when I heard foot prints behind me. "Leah! LEAH!" Dad. Great. I turned around, folding my arms across my chest.
"WHAT?!"
"Leah." Dad said softly. "Look, you shouldn't take out on your mother about…"
"About what? How she's a crappy mom?"
"No. About you and Sam" OH. HELL. NO. He did not just go there! "Leah, he just thinks that Emily is better than you and that's-"
I exploded. Every angry feeling inside, came to the surface. Wait…why is everything so…small? I looked around to see everything had gotten smaller. I looked when dad was but he wasn't there, he was lying in the grass about 20 feet away from me, motionless.
"Dad?" instead of my voice I heard a soft whimper. "Dad?!" I asked as a yelp came from my lips. An ear piercing scream came from the house, so I ran to the trees for cover.
"HARRY!! HARRY!!" Mom ran out of the house and held dad in her arms. "SETH!" My little brother ran out of the house, water staining his cheeks. The both carried dad to the car up front, Seth helped mom get dad in the back seat, and went back to the house. The miniature white truck pulled out and drove away.
"Seth." A voice called. I turned around and around in the green filled forest, finding myself alone.
"Is that you, Seth?" Many voices called around me. A heavy rain poured down quickly, as the rain dropped on my head, I dipped my head to cover my eyes from the water.
"Go away!" A snarl instead of words came to my throat.
"Leah?! Lee?!" Seth called as he ran out the house, pulling the hood of his jacket over him.
I trust him. I thought as I walked toward Seth. He entered the line of the woods and froze.
