Kia Ora Guys!

The names Wanganui, I'm one of New Zealand's cities and since "apparently" me and my brother Palmerston North are getting too "noisy" for the neighbours to "sleep", Zea told me to either shape up or go spend a couple of months at Oz's place! NO THANKS! So I got the idea from Zea to start writing letters! Yea it seems kinda boring but wait till you've seen some of the ones Zea has! So anyway I'll tell you a bit more about myself so you have a good idea of who you're sending letters to!

So anyway my "official" name is Wanganui or as the elders of my town calls me Whanganui, My English human name is Jordan Kirkland and my Maori human name is Kaitiaki Awa which (roughly translated) means Guardian of the River which is pretty cool if you ask me. I was one of the first towns that were settled in by the English men (or Pakeha) because I was right on the shoreline of New Zealand. But the Pakeha weren't the first to actually settle in me. Because I was on a river and right next to an ocean, I was a popular spot with the Maori tribes who would use my river as a source of food. There was also a legend about how my river got there in the first place, which I may tell you if you ask ;) so yea, I've been around for a while so naturally a lot of stories and rumours crop up about me like how there is a Taniwha living in my river (which I will neither confirm, nor deny) and the haunted buildings in town? Yea I've got my fair share, but who doesn't!? And I don't who if any of you have read a certain Russian girl's blog about Wanganui but let me assure you, I'm a very nice town! Sure I have a few gangs scattered here and there but at least I'm not as bad as America for instance! And Aramoho is a very nice suburb! Not like some I could mention Palmy!

So yea that's about it for now! Hope to hear from you soon!

Ka kite anō!

Jordan out!
