In the forest, all was quiet. The wind dare not blow, the animals dare not scurry.

Ebony dims to a dull black. Cobalt dims to a dull blue

Two boys, no, men, stood facing each other in the clearing. A dark red liquid began to drip. They stood, not speaking a word to the other. The pain in their hearts increased as they watched the other's face contort in the pain they brought upon themselves.
