AN: I started this story a while ago, but gave up. But I've decided I'm going to give it another try. Here goes nothing.+++

She watched as the snowflakes steadily fill up her bedroom window. So white and brilliant, they fell in a serene yet eerie dance, blanketing the semi-detached houses which were slowly becoming invisible. The white glow from the snow was illuminating her bedroom, mixing with the soft lilac light from lamp on her bedside table.
It was the perfect setting of a love movie.
If only..
"Hermione, look at me" She turned to face him. His voice had a desperate edge, almost angry.
"Isn't the saying 'if you love something, set it free'?"
"Don't be cheesy! Lets just- lets just.." his voice had trailed off. They were all out of options now, and they both knew. A single tear tracked down his face.
She smiled a very faint smile. "I love you, Draco. Please.."
"Don't say it." his voice had caught in his throat.
"Please, just let me go"
They locked eyes for a final moment. A moment that lasted a lifetime, but was still not enough.
"You're the only one Hermione, you'll always be the only one." With a kiss on her forehead, he slowly backed his way to her bedroom door.
