I wrote this out in my note-book awhile ago and decided I'd put it up. I still have o ge around o making hat Tsubaki*Star I promised FOREVER AGO and I'm also planning a KidXCrona c:

Beep... Beep... Beep...Beep...Beep... Beep... Beep... Beep...

I was listening to the soft and steady sound of the heart monitor as I sat next to your hospital bed. I just stared at you for hours. Your motionless body just laying there on the cheaply thin bed covers.

I felt so guilty watching. I couldn't help but think it was all my fault you were here. I hadn't protected you from that blow.

"I should have taken it like I did with Crona and Ragnarök."

Beep... Beep... Beep...Beep...Beep... Beep... Beep... Beep...

"I'm sorry I let this happen to you." I cried, griping your bed side railings. Tears were streaming down my cheeks.

Beep... Beep...Beep...Beep...Beep, Beep... Beep... Beep.

"I didn't protect you like I should have."

My sobs and weeps were much more audible now. I almost sounded like I was choking. he cries getting stuck in my thought as the river ran down my face.

Beep... Beep... Beep... Beep...Beep... Beep, beep... Beep...

"I hate seeing you laying in tha bed. All it does is remind me that I failed as your weapon..." I choked out. My face was tear stained and my eyes and nose are red, due to me wiping them so much.

I wasn't long until a nurse came in and sent me home. I told them to call me if anything happened. I layed in bed awake all night with the phone siting by me. I didn't even bother changing out of my day clothes. I had been ready if anything did happen all night. So also, my motorcycle keys next to me to.

So when the time came that I'm allowed to go back to the hospital, I wasted no time getting there.

Beep... Beep... Beep.. Beep... Beep... Beep

Your heart be was uneven. That's not a very good sign.

"Hey Maka, hurry up and get better. I don't know how much longer I can take no seeing your beautiful green eyes."

Beep...Beep...Beep...-...- beeep... Beep... Beep... Beeeep.

I sat in silence. And eventually fell asleep to the steady sound of your heart. I think I was asleep for a full hour before-

Beeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee eeeeep-

MY heart stopped to. A long series of chokes and sobbed escaped my lungs again as a doctor and nurse ushered me out of the small room. I sat outside on a chair as I waited for the return of the doctor and nurse.

A few good 10 minutes in there, trying to make your heart start again, they came in and told me to go say good-bye. A few 'sorry' and a pat on the back, hey let me see you.

I tried so hard to listen for the steady beat of your hear. Nothing. I tried again.

Nothing.

I started sobbing again as I took in the fac that your heart beat wasn't going to start again. So I stumbled over to your side. And held your hands in mine for a while before kissing your head and saying "I love you..."

I whimpered for a minuet or two. When I decided It was time for me to leave, I kissed you once more.

I got to the door and was about to turn the handle...

Beep... Beep... Beep... Beep... Beep... Beep...

My eyes widened and I turned around. And cried, again. I was acting so uncool. But who really gives a fuck. I sure as hell don't. Your eyes opened and you smiled at me. "Soul..."

"Maka!" I ran back towards you and cried into you for hours on end before a nurse came into see what was going on.

"I love you too."

And we went home that night in each others arms.

How was it? This took me longer than I wanted it too . Oh well. It's here now and I have lots more to update! See ya later! :3
