In memory of Gray Fullbuster, one of the most wonderful people to ever exist, even if it was only in our hearts in the end.
"He was a dear friend, and even more than that, he was family. And family always stuck together. That's what he did. He stuck with us through the thick and the thin. He was there for me when I needed him, just like he was for everybody else. Because we were family. And we always will be.
I remember when I first joined the family. He had been in a fight, and his horrible stripping habit had awakened yet again."Here she smiled in remembrance, hands wiping tears from brown eyes.
"I had been standing there, watching, freaking out because of what I'd soon realize was normal. He popped up beside me, totally in the nude, not even boxers on. Had Erza been there, she would have killed him all over again. But anyways," she said, a fond and nostalgic look in everybody's eyes as she continued.
"He comes to me and asks in this way that I guess was to to be gentlemanly and polite, and asks me for my underwear please."
And as everybody else grinned or laughed, picturing it, and wiping their own tears away, she suddenly stood up straight, eyes serious and pained in a way that only people who'd lost loved ones had, and announced.
"He was one of the most amazing people I had the honor of knowing, and even more that we were close to each other, brother and sister. We all are family here, and we all know he was one of the firsts. He will always be living in our hearts and memories forever, never to be forgotten. And when I grow up, I'll be sure to tell my kids of their wonderful and awesome uncle, and they'll tell their own when they grow up. There is no need to grieve. He lives, and so do we. Now we make him proud By living on and proving we deserved to know him in this life. Just know this," she spoke, turning around to face a glistening white and blue rock and crying, a warm and loving smile on her face, placing a cross shaped pendant on it.
"I love you Gray."
