Thoughts of a Wanna-be Pirate
Most people thought Chip's dream was to be a superhero. In actuality, that was his second dream. For as long as he could remember, Chip had wanted to be a pirate. He didn't know why, but he did. When he mentioned this to Madison, she had said "But if you're a pirate, you'd go off and I wouldn't see you anymore." Chip reconsidered this because he didn't want to make Maddie unhappy.
"You could come with me, if you want," he said. "Vida, too." He smiled when he saw her face light up. She hugged him and said, "Thanks, Chip."
