Be careful what you wish for
It was been one year since Johnny and Dally died and I have to admit I've been having nightmares. You know the ones you can't remember but you keep waking up in an ice cold sweat. Yeah those nightmares. One night when it was really bad one I woke up panting like a dog. The good news was I did not wake up Soda or Darry cause if I did that would have been the 5th time that week. So without waking them up I crept outside to the front porch so I can look at the stars. I did that sometimes so I can think. Any way while I was looking at them a shooting star came blazing across the night sky. So without thinking I quickly made a wish that everything would be back the way it used to be. The next morning I woke up in my bed I don't remember going in my bed last night. Then I looked at my calendar like I always do to mark how many day I've had nightmares, but when I looked at the date the date was the exact day I got jumped by those socs as I was leaving the movie house. I realized my wish came true. I was this close to leaping for joy, when a girl's voice startled me "I knew you would be happy". I turned around there was this girl in my room dressed in white. She had short brunet hair, glasses blue /green eyes and white angel wings coming from her back. That was when I thought okay I'm dreaming I have to be dreaming there is a hot angel in my room (which never happens to me) and Johnny and dally are alive. "Yep I'm dreaming" I said aloud. "No you're not" she said, which I found that very hard to believe but the way she said it I had to believe. "So wait my wish came true then. Johnny and Dallas". "Are alive and well", she finished for me. "Wow, I said, I thought wishing on stars were just myths." She looked offended then she said "who told you that Ponyboy Curtis" "whoa I'm sorry I did not mean to offend you" I said, "can you at least tell me your name." "My name is Sadie Soe, and I already know your name." "How do you know my name" I said. "Well of course I have to know your name I'm your guardian angel." "Well I guess I should have known because of the wings", I said. Wait there has to be a catch. There is always a catch, I thought. "Oh yeah there's a catch", Sadie said as if she read my mind. "Let me guess Johnny and dally come back, but they have the injuries." "Nope, she chuckled." "Since you were way off I'm going to let you figure this one out yourself." Then she disappeared in a cloud of smoke.
