Makino, with a glare that would have killed a lesser man, had threatened all manner of nasty things should he cause any harm to her boys, and then had set a large plate of tempting smelling food in front of him and demanded he eat.
The red haired pirate captain and his first mate had given him a hard once over, obviously prepared to say something but restrained by the expression on the elder D. brother's face.
