A/N: It's my first attempt to write anything related to Pretty Little Liars, and I don't know much about the characters yet so I'm sorry if it doesn't sound realistic. It's just a fliclet I wrote to a livejournal community but decided to show you guys too (I'm thinking about turning it into a fanfiction).

Emily walked toward Maya's house; she nervously rang the bell. There was no answer. She was about to rang it again when she notice there was a note taped on the door. As soon as she took the note on her hand, she felt a shiver running up her spine. What if it was from "A"? She shook her head no, checking inside her purse to find her cell phone still turned off, Emily had promised herself she would forget about "A" and anything else that could ruin that night, taking another deep breath, she read the note aloud,

"I'm waiting for you inside.

Just follow the path.

Maya."

She sighed in relief, smiling a tiny smile, and entered the house. Red rose petals were all over the floor making a path toward the stairs, she followed the lead to Maya's room.

Scented candles were placed strategically around the bedroom. A bottle of champagne and strawberries carefully put on top of the nightstand. Emily glanced around the room, amazed to what she was seeing. Maya was waiting for her in front of the bed, and as soon as they saw each other, their eyes locked, both girls stood there for a moment that seemed like an eternity. There was no need for talking; their eyes said everything.

Maya softly touched Emily's face and smiled; witnessing the love she knew was growing inside their hearts. Then gently, she leaned forward to capture Emily's lips. The kiss grew deeper and deeper, their hands running up one another's backs.

Suddenly Emily broke off from the kiss, stepping back confused.

"I can't do this." She whispered, placing one hand on her lips, closing her eyes. "I've never done this before." Emily completed, turning slightly red.

Maya couldn't help but smile, she approached her, holding her arms gently, "I know." She assured her, "And that's ok. If it doesn't feel right to you, we don't have to do anything."

"It is. It is right!" she said honestly, looking deep inside Maya's eyes, "And I want it. That's why I'm here. I want everything with you. The whole thing. I just don't know what to do."

The other girl smoothly slid her arms around Emily, pulling her body close to her own, "Trust me, I'm just as scared." Maya admitted, shyly. They looked at each other again, standing very close, "I'm really in love with you, Emily. And that never happened to me before." She winked gracefully, "Not like this. I told you before and I'll say it again: you are worth waiting for."

Emily smiled and they hugged. As they pulled back, she said "What you did to your room… and the roses… it's amazing! Thank you."

The girl nodded, "You deserve it." she kissed her quick on the lips, and then walked toward the CD player, turning it on. A slow tune started. "Come here." She stretched her arm out to Emily, "Dance with me."

The silence that followed the moment couldn't be nicer.
