Hermione Granger was a little girl who had never celebrated Christmas. So on December 23rd, when her parents decided it was time to tell her about Santa.

"Santa is a very generous man," said Mrs. Granger.

"Is he! Is he really oh! I just can't wait to see him," said Hermione nearly screaming with joy and excitement.

Her parents calmly explained to her that she could not see Santa. She became very upset and ran up to her room. She spotted a mysterious ring on her bedside table. She was still steaming when her parents called her down to dinner.

"Why can't I see Santa? It's not fair. I wish I could see Santa." POP, Hermione disappeared.

The next thing she knew she was in a workshop filled with happy workers and one jolly old man.

"Hello," said the mysterious man "I'm Santa Claus and this is my workshop. I see you've found my magic ring."

Hermione had not known it was a magic ring, but Santa calmly explained that it was his wedding ring. The elves had borrowed the ring and experimented on it. The ring did not work when Santa wished Hermione home, so he gave it to his head elf for repairs.

Hermione and Santa pondered a few minutes on how Hermione could get home. Finally, the only solution seemed to be that Hermione would go deliver presents on Christmas Eve. Santa showed Hermione to her room.

When Santa opened the door of Hermione room the next morning, he found her literally jumping with joy on the bed. She was so excited.

"Now if you want, you can go play with some of our student elves. It's the winter vacation," said Santa.

So she did, they were playing her favourite game too called, Freebie Hockey. That night was Christmas Eve. Santa showed Hermione a huge sac. "Wow. That's a really big sac," exclaimed Hermione. "I know it's very big, unfortunately not big enough. So every year, we put a spell on the presents," responded Santa "and we still have to feed the reindeer."

Hermione mixed magic flying powder into the reindeer food, and fed the reindeer. The caretaker of the reindeer came up to Santa and said, "Jumper is missing!" "What? The sled won't even get off the ground without a lead reindeer." Responded Santa. The caretaker went to check if there were any other reindeer. However, there was none. Suddenly all that could be heard was

"Thump, thump"

It was a man with 2 feet of steel. He had a replacement reindeer, Rudolph. His name was Dr. Super evil. He continued to threaten Santa and Hermione. Rudolph kicked him repeatedly until he ran away, without looking back. Rudolph became permanent lead reindeer.

The next morning, Hermione awoke from a deep sleep. It was Christmas morning! Hermione was never sure whether she had dreamed the whole thing or not, but one thing is certain, she will never forget it.
