Let's learn about history on the fourteenth day.

Sora could feel her eye twitch in annoyance, as Genshi would not settle down. How was she supposed to help the boy with his studies if he wouldn't listen?!

"Genshi-kun! You need to pay attention!" exclaimed the pink-haired girl.

She watched as the young cave boy gave her a pout. "But Sora! That stuff's so boring!"

"Genshi-kun, I know that you don't like these subjects, but you need to learn this stuff for the future," replied Sora with a sigh.

"How come?"

"…You just do."

"Will it make me a better Time Detective?" asked Genshi, looking excited at the prospect of getting stronger.

"…Sure, let's go with that!" replied Sora, happy that she might actually get Genshi to study.

It was well into the night when they finished. Sora knew it was going to be a challenge to teach Genshi, what with him being from prehistoric times, but she didn't think it would take this long. Genshi just couldn't seem to grasp these subjects that easily. Bless his little heart though that he didn't want to give up. She just hoped that they didn't have a repeat of this.

"Is that it, Sora?" asked Genshi as he looked up at the older girl.

She let out a yawn before answered. "I'm afraid so, Genshi-kun. You were able to learn everything we had for today."

She couldn't help but smile as Genshi gave her a wide grin.

"Great! I can't for tomorrow when we can get new stuff to learn!" exclaimed Genshi.

Sora's smile twitched a little in dread.

Space-Time Detective Genshi-kun, or as it's called in English Flint the Time Detective, was one of my favorite animé series as a kid. I wish someone would pick up the license over here and redub it though so it wouldn't be so Americanized.
