Rose's Lament
An immortal vow, means nothing now,
For I have undone the world.
Damned again:
Yet, you my friend, don't seem to see what I really am,
Well, let me explain this mystery,
For I am not who I wish to be.
I am the one who gives the gift of death,
Whose hands and blade are stained with red life,
And who knows nothing of righteousness.
Cursed to live because I survived;
How I wish that I had died.
To live this havok, to breathe this strife . . .
I kill children in the name of Fate.
Now, you see what I've become?
A blackened soul that's full of hate.
A heartless monster forced to kill.
A creature so numb,
She's lost her will.
