Our story follows a young maceman by the name of Davikke who's about to siege a robber baron castle will he survive I do not own goodgame empire.

We marched for what seemed like hours. Our banner waving proudly in the glorious wind. Our leader a bladedancer was on her horse. Her armor was enchanted it made us melee units have a more powerful attack. I remember my first day of training.

Flashback

"What's your name maggot" the veteran maceman shouted in my face. I adjusted myself. "Davikke sir" I shouted. He went on to tell us recruits to give our lives for our lord and people. The training was hard hours of marching and lifting weights. The we were given armor which was very heavy. By sunset sweat was dripping from my face. Yet at the end of the day I was a proud maceman of my lord's army. "Mother I did it" I whispered.

End of flashback

We had other troops marching with us. Crossbowmen trailed along as well as traveling knights who swore fealty to our lord. After finding pieces of a sacred relic after viciously attacking several robber baron castles. We had simple siege tools ladders and rams. We looked at the robber baron's castle. Our commander gave a speech.

"Today we siege this castle of wickedness know that you're fighting for your home, family, lord, and country now lets send these bastards to hell" she roared. It was simple but inspiring we roared back bashing our shields. I could see some cower at our zeal. We run towards the side walls setting up the ladders. The enemy threw down stones. I raised my shield. The enemy was tough I'll give them that much. Arrows rained down on the middle forces a traveling knight fell to the ground an arrow tore into his right shoulder.

Our crossbowmen pulled him from the battle line then returned to battle. More stones bounced off my shield. I known my mother's spirit is watching over me.

Flashback#2

The alarm tower in my village rang. My mother told me to hide under the bed. The robber baron's troops tore down our houses and killed our cattle. Those that resisted were killed. My mother tried to fight back. I held back a scream as they cut her down. However another horn roared as a group of wandering troops cut down the bandits. They fought with courage and honor. After the battle I buried my mother and left for the nearest castle. I was going to be a maceman and kill every last one of the robber baron's I cried.

End of Flashback#2

The battle was getting tough and we still hadn't breached the castle. Our crossbowmen were firing with great accuracy. Finally the gate was smashed open. The middle troops cheered and swarmed into the courtyard. Seeing a break I climbed up the ladder. Though exhausted seeing the enemy morale broken. Filled me with renewed stamina. I got to the top of the castle walls. A archer tried to fire his bow at me. I crushed his skull my first kill. A traveling knight cut down a spearmen behind me. Damn I didn't see him. The knight who was blind in one eye smiled patting me on the back then returned to the fray. Our banner carrier waved our standard a green bat alongside four pink and purple squares. I smashed another into the line slaying two spearmen.

Our commander a blade dancer danced with grace leaving behind a trail of fallen enemies. We all charged toward the keep. It was over by then all enemies fled or were slain. We took the loot food, stone, lumber, and even some rubies. The day was our though the hospial would have ten more men in it. I was just happy to be alive and couldn't wait to get back to the castle tavern and bakery for a victory bread and ale celebration. First I have to haul this sack of food I groaned.
