His voice echoed in her head as if he were screaming from the top of a mountain.
Sakura returned to her bedroom from the terrible flashback. She was sitting on her bed near her window, watching the rain decline from the sky and sink into the Earth.
She leaned over towards her side table and grabbed her old team 7 photo. She had the picture permanently stained in her heart. Kakashi-sensei, Naruto, and…Sasuke all peered back at her as she studied their faces.

She absently mopped the tears from her fair face.
