Disclaimer: I do not have the privilege nor honor of owning this brilliant story that is Twilight. Nor it's sequels, which is quite unfortunate. Of course I do own this plotline.
This story was inspired by Biffy Clyro's Living is a Problem Because Everything Dies. It was just a quick something that I wanted to write.
Edward pulled himself out of the cramped crawl space above the Mexican bar.
It was night time and Edward hadn't hunted in at least a month and a half. The hunting in Mexico was scarce but it kept his mind of things. Off her, the woman he left behind. The love of his existence, Isabella Marie Swan, Bella for short.
Bella
He twitched painfully at the thought of her name. Her name that described her perfectly. Beautiful.
Edward could use so many words to describe her. Loving, smart, angelic, understanding. The list could go on and on forever.
He picked up the trail of a pack of grey wolves. They weren't too far away. He quickly picked out the weakest one and feasted on its blood.
The blood didn't fill the void that he felt in his heart. He knew that only Bella could do that.
Edward's mind started drifting on its' own accord back to Bella as he walked slowly back to the little Mexican town.
He wanted her to be happy but he didn't know how he could do anything more other then leave. He decided to resort to the one thing he use to do in desperate times when he was still human.
He had used it when his mother and father had contracted spanish influenza and now he was using it again.
"I pray to god that you'll find someone to love." Edward whispered into the wind.
A dust storm started off in the distance whipping the sand up.
"I pray that you'll be happy." He hoped that some higher being was taking the time to listen to him just this once.
"I pray that you'll never think of me." He had prayed this pray ever night subconsciously.
"I pray to god that you'll have lots of little children that will love you as much as I do." Edward took a deep breath and sat on a bench in front of a bar. "That you'll live to see your grandchildren get married." He closed his eyes trying not to dry sob.
"Please be happy, never cry. I want you to live your life." The sobs broke free. "Please be safe. I pray to god that. . ." Edward stopped speaking out loud and cried with his head in his hands.
"I pray to god that you'll appear right before my eyes."
Edward lifted his head and took a deep breath. His eyes slid open slowly.
God was never kind to vampires.
I hope you liked it!
To all that are reading A Missed Year, I'll update when I get back from holiday. I'm going to another country so I won't have any access to my laptop unfortunately.
Reviews and flames welcomed!
