A/N: New story. I will say what I need to after it.

Disclaimer: Disney owns the characters; however, I own the idea of the story.

There was a soft knock at Zack Martin's cabin door. "Come in," he said loudly.

Bailey Pickett turned the handle and pushed the door. She entered and began, "Sorry Zack. I was on the deck with Cody and he was telling me this great joke about-" She paused, finally taking notice of her surroundings. "What the feathers?!"

Zack gave a lop-sided grin. "Do you like it?"

"Uh.. Uh, it's uh..." Bailey stuttered, looking around the room. The lights were dimmed and music was playing lightly in the background. She laughed uneasily, "Well, we better turn on these lights so you can see what I'm teaching you." Bailey flipped on the light switch and smiled.

Zack frowned. "I like the room dark. It calms me," he informed.

Bailey rolled her eyes as she set down her school books. "Okay, what do you want to know first?"

"Are you and Cody having any issues?" he asked, slightly leaning towards her.

Bailey scrunched her nose. "What? No! And I meant what subject do you want me to tutor you on? I have World History, Chemistry 1, and -"

"History," Zack answered. "It's still boring, but it may not put me to sleep."

Bailey laughed and opened the book. "Chapter 17: Attempts at Liberty," she said in a deep, narrative voice. "Now, while we, the United States I mean, were busy building our country, France was making sure that theirs didn't crash and burn."

"Yawn," Zack muttered.

"Zack!" Bailey yelled, sounding irritated. "Do you want help or not?!"

"I didn't ask for help, Bailey. Miss T is making you tutor me!" Zack exclaimed.

Bailey huffed. "Fine then. I'll leave," she said while gathering her belongings.

Zack sighed. "No, Bailey... I'm sorry. Please stay," he begged.

Bailey's face softened. "Okay, but only if you promise to pay attention and try to understand."

Zack smiled. "You got it."

Bailey sat back down and opened her book once more. "Where were we?" she asked herself. "Oh yes! France was-"

She was cut off by Zack's lips on hers. Bailey's eyes widened at Zack's sudden action, but she couldn't move. She relaxed and felt herself give in; however, when Zack tried to push his tongue past her lips, she pulled away.

"Well-" Bailey started, breathing heavily. "-look at the time! I really must be going, but we made excellent progress and just keep studying, Zack!" She grabbed her bag and practically ran out the door.

"Excellent progress, huh?" Zack grinned from ear to ear. "Oh yeah, she wants me!"
