Hey guys! so thank you soo much for reading this! It's my first time writing for someone other than my friends, and I'm not sure how good it is, so please, please review and favorite!

This is basically an AU beginning to Percabeth's reunion at Camp Jupiter in the beginning of MoA, where they aren't together yet. Some descriptions and dialogue are directly from MoA, all credit to those who deserve it! I do not own PJo/HoO characters either (sadly).

"Percy…who was somewhere below them right now. Oh, gods. Panic welled up inside her. She forced it down. She couldn't afford to get overwhelmed.

I'm a child of Athena, she told herself. I have to stick to my plan and not get distracted."

After striking a deal with Terminus, Annabeth finally climbed down the rope ladder into Camp Jupiter's forum. She stepped down and stood facing the mass of demigods, some still in armor from their battle with the giants. And in front of all of them was a boy with gorgeous sea-green eyes, messy black hair, and a familiar smirk on his face. He was wearing a purple toga, and Annabeth noticed the other demigods stood slightly back, as if to show he was their leader. Percy.

"Annabeth was too stunned to move. She felt that if she got any closer to him, all the molecules in her body might combust. She'd secretly had a crush on him since they were twelve years old. Last summer, she'd fallen for him hard."

Annabeth wanted to kiss him - or punch him, she couldn't decide - but she wasn't able to with the arrival of a tall girl, with glossy brown hair, and a steely look in her eyes. She wore a purple toga just like Percy, and the crowd parted immediately. This must be Reyna, Annabeth thought.

"Jason had described her well. Even without that, Annabeth would have singled her out as the leader. Medals decorated her armor. She carried herself with such confidence the other demigods backed away and averted their gaze."

"Well, Jason Grace," Reyna said. Annabeth noticed that her voice was calm, but her demeanor was…scared. No. It was hopeful, but sad, like she knew something was wrong, and didn't like it. "Welcome back."

Suddenly, a gasp went through the crowd. "Annabeth?" Percy asked.

"Annabeth didn't mean to, but she surged forward. Percy rushed toward her at the same time. The crowd tensed. Some reached for swords that weren't there.

Percy threw his arms around her. They kissed, and for a moment nothing else mattered. An asteroid could have hit the planet and wiped out all life, and Annabeth wouldn't have cared."

Percy smirked. "I was meaning to ask you this before I…I left, but,"

Annabeth didn't let him finish. Why was he so stupid, getting himself kidnapped by Her Most Annoying Majesty, and shipped off to another camp for six months?

"Annabeth grabbed his wrist and flipped him over her shoulder. He slammed into the stone pavement. Romans cried out. Some surged forward, but Reyna shouted, "Hold! Stand down!"

Annabeth put her knee on Percy's chest. She pushed her forearm against his throat. She didn't care what the Romans thought. A white-hot lump of anger expanded in her chest—a tumor of worry and bitterness that she'd been carrying around since last autumn.

"If you ever leave me again," she said, her eyes stinging, "I swear to all the gods—"

Percy had the nerve to laugh. Suddenly the lump of heated emotions melted inside Annabeth."

She smiled and helped him up. Percy pulled her into an embrace, and she smiled and looked up at him.

"Yes, Seaweed Brain. I'll be your girlfriend."
