Sky Meets The Sea
Look at the ocean. It's beautiful at sunset, just like my mermaid.
Standing next to me looking out at where the sky meets the sea, we are together.
Are hands are wound together. Like us.
We are soul mates, even if others think not.
I remember when I was younger, and others stared at me.
But not my mermaid.
No she smiled at me, and laughed with me.
I was scared when I first met her. She brought the destiny I didn't want.
But I embraced it. It was the only way I'd have her.
Now I look back and am glad.
I have her, firefly, and koneko.
I'd never of had any of it if it wasn't for her.
She is my love, and I will never part from her.
She looks up at me with those sea colored eyes. A content smile plays across her lips.
She looks happy. As I am.
Both of us stand there watching the other. It's like destiny did catch up with me, but I will not run again. For if she is part of my destiny, then I will hold tight to it, and not let it go.
