Lucy woke up to a loud noise banging on her door. "Ugh. Probably Natsu and Happy wanting me to make them food." Lucy said angrily, getting up to answer the door. Lucy was surprised to find out this visitor was Erza. "Lucy. You need to come to the guild right away. Natsu and Gray have gone at it again, and it's getting out of hand." She said firmly, her usual stern attitude. Lucy was a bit concerned. She had kept her feelings for Natsu a secret, but lately, she had felt it was now or never to tell him how she felt.
When they got to the guild, everyone was crowded around Natsu and Gray. "Natsu!" Lucy yelled as she pushed through the crowd. "Hey salamander! Why don't you go and cry to Lucy!" Gray yelled. "Oh that's it!" Natsu yelled. As he started to raise his hand, he felt a tug on his scarf. "Natsu! Come on lets go. This is over." Lucy said as she pulled on his scarf even more and dragging him through the crowd. "Lucy! C'mon I was just getting ready to kick that ice cube's ass!" Natsu said, still being dragged by Lucy.
"What do you think you were doing?!" Lucy yelled as she pushed Natsu into a chair back at her apartment. "Gray was being his stupid annoying self." Natsu grunted, looking down in his lap. "Erza said it was getting out of hand and I got worried." Lucy said as she lifted Natsu's head up by his chin. "I care about you Natsu. If something happened to you I would be devastated. I love you Natsu." A tear streamed down Lucy's face. "Lucy, don't cry I'm okay." Natsu said as he kissed Lucy's tears off her face. "I love you too." He said as he moved to her lips. Natsu was still in the chair and Lucy was bent down looking at his face. Lucy sat on Natsu's lap and started to kiss him again. "Is this really happening? Am I dreaming?" Lucy thought as she continued to passionately kissed Natsu. Lucy broke the kiss as she started to take off Natsu's vest. She could feel him getting hard when she was sitting on his lap. "Natsu." Lucy said, concern in her voice. "I don't think we should do this now. I want to have a relationship with you and I think we should take things slow, so we're absolutely in love with each other." Natsu took his hands off Lucy. "Whatever makes you happy Lucy. I'm fine with whatever." Lucy kissed Natsu again. "No Natsu you silly oaf. I want to do this someday, just not now. I love you a lot, but I want to prove it by waiting." Natsu smiled and put his big hands back on Lucy's hips. "Okay. I love you too Lucy. I really want to be with you." Lucy smiled. 'Well Mr. Dragonslayer, what do you say we go on our first date?" Lucy said wrapping herself around him tighter. " Food and Lucy? Hell yeah!" Natsu said as he stood up and twirled around in a circle as he held Lucy.
