A/N: I wrote this at four in the morning...random thoughts running through my mind.

"Tom…" my best friend Haley said walking into my room
"Hey Hals..what's up?" I asked shutting the book I was reading. She looked as if she'd been crying.
"Nothing much." She stating sitting on the edge of my bed.
"Haley? What's wrong?" I asked a bit concerned. Even crying she looked so beautiful.
"Tom, I've been meaning to tell you something. I have been wanting to tell you this for a while, and I've decided that it's now." She said taking hold of my hand.
"Go ahead."
"Tom…I…" she paused.
"You what?" I urged
"I-I love you." She said looking at the floor.
"What?" I asked shocked.
"I love you. I've loved you since we started hanging out last year. I love your laugh, personality, and your cute one dimple." She said touching the side of my face. I grabbed her hand.
"I don't expect you to say it back, I just wanted to let you know." She said getting up off the bed and heading toward the door.
-Hayley's POV-
I walked out of his room, tears streaming down my face. I just told my best friend that I love him, and now I've probably lost him forever. I ran down the stairs and out onto the side walk. I was heading to my house when I heard someone call my name.
"Haley!" I heard someone yell. I turned to see Tom running toward me.
"Tom?" I asked wiping the tears from my face.
"I love you too." He said before his lips crashed against mine. I've been waiting for this for so long. I've dreamt of kissing Tom so passionately, and now it's finally happening. The kiss ended and we just stared at each other. He wiped a stray tear from my cheek.
"Haley? Why didn't you tell me before?" he asked as we walked toward my house.
" I was scared that you wouldn't love me back. But then I realized that the only way I would be happy was if I told you how I really felt."
We stopped in front of my house for one more kiss before he headed home.
"Haley..."he said as I walked up the drive.
"Yeah Tom?" I asked as I turned.
"I love you."
"I love you too."
