Veronica's fingertips clicked on the keyboard, fervently adding her details onto the new social networking site called Facebook. She had immediately called her best friend, Lilly, to inform her of the new development. When she returned to her laptop, a smile graced her lips as she saw the friend requests of her best friends. Giddily, she accepted all requests. Veronica looked at her 'Wall' on Facebook which read:

Veronica Mars has joined Facebook
Veronica Mars is now friends with Logan Echolls, Duncan Kane and Lilly Kane

A notification appeared which brightened her smile; this was all so new and exciting. She clicked on it and her post which displayed...

Logan Echolls: Look who finally discovered technology ;-) welcome to FB Ronnie; there'll finally be something interesting to read.

She giggled, shook her head and typed in a quick response.

Veronica Mars: You're one to talk; your mommy's the one that put up your FB Loggie.

She licked her lips, giddy as the notifications continued to pop up. She grinned when she saw Lilly liked her comment.

Lilly Kane: OMG like seriously? :O Aww Logan, does your mommy check your Facebook too? Hahahaha =))

Veronica laughed at Lilly's reaction. Before she even had a moment to reply she had a notification alert.

Logan Echolls: Shut Up! :-

She giggled and then bit her lip. She always enjoyed teasing Logan. It seemed that teasing him on Facebook was also fun. Her cheeks became heated when she sent her reply.

Veronica Mars: You know you love me Loggie Bear 3

She wondered how he would react to being called something so mushy on a social networking site. She knew that if it were in person, he'd retaliate with tickles or dump her in the pool. She thought it was an act to prove his macho-ness or something to that affect.

Lilly and Logan responded almost instantaneously. She wondered if they always just had the application opened. Lilly liked her comment.

Logan Echolls: Ronnie! Not on FB! :-# Zip it.

She smiled at Logan's reply. She could picture his adorable widened eyes telling her to just shut up. She knew that he wouldn't mind. She sometimes thought that he secretly liked it when she called him Loggie Bear.

Lilly Kane: Lmfao! Loggie Bear ;);)

She shook her head with a small smile on her face at Lilly's comment. She liked the comment because she could picture Lilly's bright green eyes and wide smile. She'd like anything that made her best friend happy.

Lilly was lounging about in her room and scanned her Facebook. She was so bored of all the guys that wanted her attention... it was tiresome. Her inbox was flooded with messages but she didn't feel like reading any of them. She was pleased that Veronica was on Facebook now. She always had fun talking to Veronica.

She clicked on Veronica's wall and decided to welcome her friend into the first level of the internet taking over their lives.

Lilly Kane: About time you stepped into the 21st century Veronica Mars, now if I can only get you to wear red satin and throw away your pastels! =D

When people realised that Lilly was online they began to send her messages but for now she didn't want to chat to them so when Veronica replied, she decided that for now she'll just stick with chatting to her BFF.

Veronica Mars: Hey! You know that dad was worried about cyber pervs. And there's nothing wrong with my colours!

Lilly's lip curved; she could picture Veronica huffing in defence but still un-offended at anything that she had said.

When a notification came that Logan had commented on her post, she lifted an eyebrow.

Logan Echolls: Don't worry about the pervs Ronnie, I'll keep them away ;)

Amusement lit Lilly's eyes. Knight-in-shining-armor Logan Echolls? She snorted.

Lilly Kane: You mean by never writing on her wall? 'Cause you're the only perv here.

Another notification came from Logan. Now, she was tired of him. Naturally, she decided that she'll give her guys the time of day now. They were always happy to chat to her and she was bored. Maybe she'd invite one of them over. She decided to read Logan's comment anyway.

Logan Echolls: You're one to talk.

She rolled her eyes. It's not her fault she was naturally promiscuous.

Duncan decided that it was only polite to welcome Veronica into the world of Facebook, after all he was one of the first three friends that she had on Facebook.

With a smile, he sat on his chair and typed on his laptop,

Duncan Kane: Hey Veronica :D

He smiled when he saw the red notification pop up. There was something about Veronica that made him want to talk to her.

Veronica Mars: Hey Duncan :-)

His smile widened at her response. And then he frowned when he saw that his sister had a comment of her own.

Lilly Kane: (Puking right now)

He didn't understand why she said that. But it was Lilly. When had he ever understood her? He then saw more notifications pop-up and it was none other than his best friend Logan Echolls. Logan had liked Lilly's utterly out-of-nowhere comment and added his own opinion.

Logan Echolls: Ah, young love

Duncan lifted an eyebrow when he saw Logan's comment. What had Logan meant? He felt truly confounded. He did not want to question it because then Lilly and Logan would ridicule him on being to slow. He had a 4.0 GPA, and they called him slow? He was pulled away from his thoughts when he read Veronica's comment.

Veronica Mars: Young love? You call Lilly puking lovely? :/ What is wrong with you?

He felt relieved that he wasn't the only one. But Veronica couldn't honestly think that that was what Logan implied. Perhaps she was being sarcastic. She tended to do that a lot when she spoke with Logan. Then again, Lilly sometimes called Veronica slow.

Quick as always, Logan's response came through.

Logan Echolls: Uh was talking about you and DK -_-

Duncan's eyes narrowed at the computer screen. Veronica and me? He didn't really have a crush on Veronica. Sure, he enjoyed her company. Sure, she was pretty. Sure, she was smart. He was pretty sure that Veronica could be labelled as perfect. But Duncan wasn't as slow as Logan and Lilly thought. He did notice Logan and Veronica's chemistry, if you'd want to call it that.

Defensive, Duncan rapidly typed his reply.

Duncan Kane: Hey! I just said hey, so it's okay if you and Lilly post long messages on her wall but when I say hey there's a problem?

He glared at mini profile picture attached to 'Logan Echolls' and then another notification sprung.

Logan Echolls: What are you, her cyber stalker?

Duncan could picture Logan's playful grin. Why did they always want to make things difficult for him. He shook his head.

Duncan Kane: It's on my wall Logan, I can read it.

Logan was correspondent as ever with his replies.

Logan Echolls: Then why aren't you commenting? Why are you secretly stalking?

Duncan had a lecture formulating in his head as he typed. He decided to cut it short. He knew that if he didn't, Logan would most definitely tease him about it.

Duncan Kane: You guys are immature for antagonizing Veronica; I didn't want to be a part of that conversation. And what's the difference between secretly stalking and stalking stalking? I'm not doing either by the way.

Duncan sighed when he read Logan's comment.

Logan Echolls: Dude, you say too much -_-

Veronica's eyes widened, she only had three friends on Facebook yet her phone seemed to continuously ring with a Facebook notification. She made a note to turn that option off. She did not need her phone ringing 24/7 when she actually got to accepting the friend invites that she's gotten, which was surprisingly a lot.

Backup barked at the phone when it once again rung with a notification. Veronica sighed and decided that she better stop the messages from coming directly to her phone.

She read the discussion between Duncan and Logan and shook her head. Even on Facebook, Logan had to pick on Duncan.

She clicked on the comment box and typed,

Veronica Mars: Guys, stop with the stalking comments, Sherriff's daughter, hello? Do you want me to lose my FB account?

Logan enjoyed toying with his friends. Especially the innocent. He lounged outside by the pool and let his fingers laze around the letters as he typed his comment.

Logan Echolls: I'll stop the comments but Donut's not keeping his eyes to his own wall. Just saying…

Lilly was on Facebook the entire time, she was chatting to some of her many lovahs. And after every minute there's a notification with the name 'Duncan Kane' and 'Logan Echolls' she was sick of it. She decided to give them a piece of her mind.

Lilly Kane: Like you should talk, you comment the most! Noti-ficking-cations alert! :

Duncan sighed heavily and responded to Logan's accusations.

Duncan Kane: Logan, honestly it was just a hey!

Veronica decided that she should not go on Facebook near Back Up. He actually growled at the buzzing device. She pouted at him but he seemed to find the phone extremely annoying. Veronica gave up. She couldn't put her phone on silent right now because her dad was going to call. She lifted her hands up high, even though she was pretty sure that if Backup really wanted he could jump for the phone.

Veronica Mars: I love you guys but please just stop with the comments, Backup looks like he's gonna attack my phone.

Logan lifted an eyebrow. He knew that she was being honest and that's what amused him.

Logan Echolls: Backup's the best dog, and to be fair if he eats your phone it's only because you wouldn't give him snickerdoodles.

Veronica rolled her eyes. Of course Logan would side with Back Up, he always did. She firmly exclaimed her rule when she clicked enter.

Veronica Mars: Backup is not allowed human food!

Lilly's eyes narrowed in a glare. Veronica had made snickerdoodles and had not sent her some?

Lilly Kane: You made snickerdoodles? :O Where is my share?!

Veronica was waiting for her dad at the Sheriff's office and decided to spend her time accepting her friend requests.

Her finger started to crank but finally she was done. She looked at her wall and saw,

Veronica Mars is now friends with Dick Casablancas, Cassidy Casablancas, Meg Manning and 345 others.

She sighed. That was a lot. She hoped her dad didn't question her about it because she wasn't even sure if she knew that many people.

She looked at her notifications and saw Meg's sweet innocent profile picture. She had to make time to like her friends pictures, it was so adorable.

Meg Manning: Hey Veronica! XD

Veronica smiled at the greeting. She liked those emoticons, for some reason it made her smile a little bit brighter than a simple 'hey.'

She wiggled her fingers around for a few seconds and then liked Meg's wall post.

Veronica Mars: Hey Meggie! :D Who would have thought that you'd have FB before me?

Meg smiled. It was true that her parents were much stricter than the Mars'. Even though they allowed her to have Facebook, she was sure to never use it in front of them.

Meg Manning: My parents think I can use technology to my advantage by spiritually guiding the youth of today :P

Veronica's lip curved. She was pretty certain that Meg was being serious.

Veronica Mars: Lol, have they met the youth of today?

Meg agreed with Veronica. She was sure that if her parents ever figured out how FB worked and they decided to check out her wall and the pictures of some of her friends. They would instantly deny her access to the fun social networking site.

Meg Manning: (Shrug) I certainly hope they never meet the youth.

Logan's lips curved. Neptune's most innocent made it so easy for him to tease them. Honestly, it'd be a crime to let the opportunity pass by him.

Logan Echolls: Miss Manning, where is my spiritual guiding? :P

Veronica sighed. He should know better than flirt with Meg.

Veronica Mars: There is not enough spirituality to purify you Logan (Sigh)

Meg laughed out loud. Logan always took the opportunity to render her blushing and speechless. Now, it was time for payback. A grin spread across her lips.

Meg Manning: Veronica, one should never take away the opportunity of finding God from another. If Logan wants to be guided, then he shall. Are you sure you want to Logan?

Logan arched an eyebrow. Was Meg Manning, saint of all saints, flirting with him? Amused, he decided to play along.

Logan Echolls: Oh I'm sure ;-)

Veronica laughed, for once it was Logan that was slow on the uptake.

Veronica Mars: Lmao, I kind of feel sorry for Logan but that's what he gets when he's being a jackass.

Lilly arched an eyebrow. What were Veronica and Meg getting at? At first, Lilly had been wary of Meg Manning. She was the poster girl for 'good girl' and could actually put Veronica to shame in that department. Then, she had grown to dislike Meg because the cheerleader had gotten too close to her best friend but eventually Lilly warmed up to her.

Lilly Kane: Jackass or flirt? And Logan and spirituality? Sorry Meg darlin' he just wants to get in your Godly pants.

Meg laughed and typed,

Meg Manning: Veronica! I'm astounded, why will I ever do anything to harm Logan? He's as cute as a bear. And I'd never harm God's wonderful creatures. Lilly, don't worry, Logan's not allowed to.

At first, Logan grinned at the screen, did Meg Manning just call him cute? Now, that was cute. In an instant, his brows furrowed.

Logan Echolls: Logan's not allowed to what? :/

Veronica grinned, revelling in the fact that she knew something that Logan didn't.

Veronica Mars: I love that Logan's oblivious for once :-D

Logan frowned, annoyed that they were getting the better of him.

Logan Echolls: What's that supposed to mean? :-S

Meg bubbled with laughter and Lizzie arched an eyebrow quizzing, Meg shook her head and let Lizzie read the messages.

Meg Manning: Logan, on your spiritual journey you must be celibate.

Logan's eyes widened, they were challenging him? With that? Of all things. No way in hell.

Logan Echolls: I have no idea what you're talking about :-l

Lilly burst out laughing, Duncan shook his head and concentrated on his Math problems.

Lilly Kane: OMG! Meg Manning you're devious, I like it!

Meg grinned cheekily.

Meg Manning: Lol, Logan's too easy :P

Lilly arched an eyebrow, a sly grin on her face.

Lilly Kane: And how would you know? ;)

Lizzie shook her head, amused at Meg's conversations.

Meg Manning: Veronica told me ;-)

Dick Casablancas: Dude! Finally! ;P

Veronica arched an eyebrow at Dick who was sitting across her. He enthusiastically gestured to his cell phone and Veronica's lips lit in an amused smile.

Veronica Mars: Dude, it's dudette :-)

Logan came over and sat next to her and plucked her phone from her hand. She gasped at him and he laughed while holding it higher. She whacked his shoulder and demanded for him to give it back.

"Sheesh, you're acting like you have something to hide, Ronnie," Logan arched an eyebrow and scanned the message.

Cassidy Casablancas: Hey Veronica, welcome to FB

"When actually you're just a dork replying to welcome messages."

She stuck her tongue out at him. "You're the dork that sent me the first welcome message. So ha."

He rolled his eyes and she snatched her phone back. He pouted playfully, she rolled her eyes and responded.

Veronica Mars: Thanks Cassidy!

Lilly Kane: Veronica Mars is the meanest best friend ever! :(

Veronica had come over to the Kane mansion to work on her Math homework and assignment with Duncan, who was now late. Lilly had taken to brooding on the couch, shoving popcorn in her face while Veronica worked on her work.

Dick Casablancas: Uh oh, what'd Ronnie do?

Logan was perched on the bar stool in his kitchen eating an apple when he decided to check Facebook. He arched an eyebrow at Lilly's dramatic tendencies. Call Veronica Mars anything, she was certainly never mean.

Logan Echolls: Dick, I'm pretty sure it's the other way around.

Duncan was on his way home from soccer practise, he frowned when he read Lilly's status update. He hoped that there was no drama going on at home, he and Veronica needed to work on their assignment and he didn't need Lilly distracting her.

Duncan Kane: Logan's right Lil, outta the two of you, you're meaner... speaking from experience.

Lilly huffed and aggressively responded.

Lilly Kane: Thanks a lot brother, I'm sure feeling the love today!

Veronica sighed. Lilly had gone up to her room at this point, her best friend could be a bit... childish at times.

Veronica Mars: Come on Lil, I said sorry

Logan's eyebrow quirked upward, surprised at Veronica's apology.

Logan Echolls: :O so you did do something?

Meg stared quizzing at the screen, wondering if she should even comment but if they really were fighting then she would want to help them resolve it.

Meg Manning: Are you two really arguing 'cos I remember that you love pretending :/

Lilly took pity on her best friend and emerged from her room but continued to silently brood. Veronica put down her pen and turned her attention Lilly, the heiress didn't dare to look at the petite blonde's pouting face.

Lilly Kane: It's not what she did, but what she didn't do!

Veronica sighed and decided to go back onto Facebook, at least Lilly was responding on there.

Logan Echolls: What? She forgot to call you so you threw a bitchy fit? ^O)

Veronica chuckled at Logan's comment, unfortunately Lilly heard and huffed loudly. Veronica rolled her eyes, Lilly was so dramatic.

Veronica Mars: You shouldn't be one to talk Echolls, this is all your fault! (Grr)

Logan chuckled in amusement. Trina arched an eyebrow at her little brother and swooped in to peak at his phone.

Logan Echolls: Me? What did I do? And did you just growl at me?

He frowned at Trina's closeness and held his phone away from her, she teased him recklessly about Veronica since she spotted the blonde's name and waggled her eyebrows as she gave her approval.

He shook his head and waved his sister off and read the rest of the comments.

Duncan Kane: I had a feeling that you were the cause (Nods)

Lilly Kane: No, you didn't o8

Veronica Mars: You brought up snickerdoodles!

He blinked in surprise, were they serious?

Logan Echolls: You're fighting over snickerdoodles? (Facepalm)

Lilly pouted dramatically. Veronica rolled her eyes in response.

Lilly Kane: She wouldn't make them for me!

Veronica Mars: I have a Math assignment due tomorrow…

Lilly Kane: Oh yeah, but you have time for FB?

Veronica Mars: Only because I'm taking a break and waiting for Duncan.

Logan frowned when he read the additional comments. Veronica was at the Kanes? And he was at home with Trina as his source of entertainment that wasn't online?

Lilly Kane: Why can't you take a break and bake me some biscuits?

Duncan Kane: Lilly, weren't you on a diet?

Logan Echolls: Are you calling Lilly fat? :O LOL

Lilly Kane: Donut, I hate you! :

Dick Casablancas: Ron-Bon, how about you make some snicker-doodles for the Dickmeister, uh? ;P

Veronica Mars: If you promise to never to refer yourself to the 'Dickmeister' again, I'll consider.

Lilly Kane: That is so unfair!

After a few more minutes of exaggerated huffing and pouting, Veronica sighed heavily and caved in, she baked Lilly those damn snickerdoodles.

Lilly Kane: Veronica Mars is the bestest best friend ever! XD

Logan shook his head, he was on his way to the Kane mansion because it was totally unfair that they were hanging out without him.

Logan Echolls: And Lilly Kane is bipolar

Duncan had taken the place of the brooding Kane. He looked longingly at the cookies only to have Lilly growl at him. Veronica looked on helplessly between the two but all remorse had gone when she found out that Duncan had been late because he and his father took a pit stop to eat.

Duncan Kane: Dude, she attacked me because I was about to eat one of her snickerdoodles, I'm scared to think of what would have happened if I actually ate it.

Duncan shuddered at the thought. He moved away from the duo to collect his books and get started on their Math work.

Lilly Kane: You wouldn't be on FB, that's for sure.

Veronica glanced at Lilly with a smile on her face, while Lilly was a handful, she was glad that Lilly liked her baking so much. It was flattering.

Veronica Mars: I know I am ;-) xxx... Logan, that's my bff you're talking about! She's your sister Duncan.

Duncan came back down the stairs and they settled in the outside yard. They desperately needed to get started on their assignment. Veronica had finished her homework while she was waiting for Duncan and Duncan had managed to finish his while she was baking for Lilly. At least, they had one less thing to worry about.

Logan Echolls: So when she's attacking DK, she's not your bff? :/ P.S Veronica Mars is also bipolar.

Lilly pouted when Veronica abandoned her for stupid Math again. She flopped down and went on Facebook. She rolled her eyes.

Lilly Kane: Logan, just shut up.

Logan Echolls: What'd I do?

Lilly Kane: What haven't you done?

Logan Echolls: I haven't done anything.

When Logan arrived at the Kane mansion, Lilly was lounging about with her phone and nibbling away at her cookies while Duncan and Veronica were sprawled with their books everywhere.

He frowned. "Well, this blows."

Moments later, he tried to snatch a cookie from Lilly and she smacked his arm as she glared at him. He pouted and whined, "Ve-ron-i-ca!"

"Go away, loser," Lilly growled.

"Ron-nie!" Logan complained. "Tell her to give me a cookie."

Veronica sighed. "Next time, we're going to the library."

"You think that'll stop them?" Duncan arched an eyebrow.

"Sheriff's department it is."
