Call of Cthulhu
By Cameron 'Bam' Allen
I sit upon the far plane,
And hear his everlasting call,
The darkness; so full of disdain,
The tears stream as he calls,
My heart; long turned to dust,
My body so full of disarray,
I must await him now, forever,
But forever ends today…
I hear his wail of terror,
As it rings within my mind,
My spirit, none the fairer,
As his tentacles, on me they bind,
He woke me from my resting place,
I've awaited him so long,
He stalked me O' so stealthily,
Until the day my life was gone,
I hear him call, now louder,
O' so louder than before,
Allow me entry MARDUK,
For I am knocking at your door,
I hear his wail of terror,
As it rings within my mind,
My spirit, none the fairer,
As his tentacles, on me they bind,
The noose, so tight around me,
My throat becomes so sore,
Trying so hard to escape,
The abominate call that I abhor,
Please just leave me be,
For what have I done for this?
Yet the answers ring to nothingness,
As I sink into the abyss…
I hear his wail of terror,
As it rings within my mind,
My spirit, none the fairer,
As his tentacles, on me they bind,
Around me O' so tightly,
His eyes, into mine, they glare,
The end is now upon me,
For which I could not prepare…
He calls for you…
He waits for you…
