Her lips were soft, and Lavender couldn't help but enjoy them. She was vaguely aware of everyone around them whistling and applauding, but she was too busy thinking of Astoria and how her lips tasted exactly like cherries and sunshine. They probably should pull apart soon, for air if nothing else, but all Lavender could think about was more. She wanted to get closer to Astoria, wanted more of her, and Lavender's mind started thinking of some incredibly forward ways to achieve it.

Distantly, she was aware that people were started to whisper and were getting uncomfortable, but Zacharias had dared her and Astoria to kiss and that's what they were doing.

They just wouldn't stop there later, and Lavender knew that there would be a later. Astoria was literally sitting on her lap at the moment and Lavender was threading her fingers through the other woman's hair.

Hair that smelled a lot like strawberries.

Lavender slowly became aware that everyone was leaving the Room of Requirement, some a little more reluctantly than other's.

Good, she thought. We won't have to move to continue on.

With a twist, she had Astoria on her back without breaking their kiss.

They probably should come up for air, but only until they desperately needed it. Until then, Lavender has ideas of what she could do with her mouth.
