As I pulled back the string of my bow, I found my anchor point and aimed at the deer. I took a deep breath and straightened my fingers. The animal lost control of its body as it fell back onto the forest ground.

"Nice job, Tauriel!" Legolas beamed at me and ran down the side of the cliff, beckoning me to follow. We ran down into the forest when we heard the Horn of Gondor. We stopped dead and looked around us, for the horn seemed to be near us.

I heard a rustle in the bushes and I took off to it. Drawing back my bow, I locked the arrow into place and brought my fingers to the edge of my lips. "Show yourself," I demanded, trying to sound threatening, "Or I'll shoot."

More noises started to erupt from inside the bush. This time I heard laughter, "Oh my god, Legolas!" the man shouted, "Is this what you have for an apprentice now?"

Legolas ran up from behind me and chimed in, "Hi Boromir! She isn't that bad." I glared at him with fierce eyes, "Well, she did shoot this deer! Father is getting meat in case we have company any time soon. It is almost New Year."

"Well have fun with that." He laughed and stood off, shaking the leaves off his pants, "I have to get going, I was looking for a stranded elder." Boromir ran off into the distance, looking back over his shoulder.

"Tauriel! Legolas!" Thranduil walked out on the bridge over them, "You're needed back in the kingdom!"
