Looking out into the stars, Sakura listened and sang along to I'll Meet You There by Simple Plan on her headphones on the roof of her dojo.
Now your gone, I wonder why you left me here. I think about it on and on and on and on and on again.
She was crying softly, realizing that this song was the one she could relate the most to. Ever since Kurama left.
I know your never coming back. I hope that you can hear me. I'm waiting to hear from you. Until I do, you're gone away. I'm left alone. A part of me is gone and I'm not moving on. So wait for me. I know the day will come.
Crying harder now, she failed to notice the dark figure that was listening to her beautiful voice in the shadows.
I'll meet you there. No matter where life takes me to. I'll meet you there. And even if I need you here. I'll meet you there.
I wish I could have told you the things I kept inside. But now I guess it's just too late. So many things remind me of you. I hope that you can hear me. I miss you. This is good bye. One last time.
And where I go you'll be here with me. Forever you'll be right here with me.
I'll meet you there. No matter where life takes me to. I'll meet you there. And even if I need you here. I'll meet you there.
When the song finished, she turned off the CD and just stared at the sky, wondering why. Why did he leave? Why didn't he even send me a letter, an email, something? Why didn't he say good bye? She started crying again, knowing that if the sun didn't rise the next day, she wouldn't care. She only wanted Kurama to be back from wherever he was.
A hand was gently placed on Sakura's shoulder. "Don't cry over me. I don't deserve it." Sakura spun around in shock at the all too familiar voice. Kurama smiled and held out a handkerchief. When she didn't take it, just stared, openmouthed, he sighed and hugged her instead. Returning the hug, Sakura knew everything would be alright.
Kurama came back.
