Hello!

This is the sequel to my other story, Afternoon tea with the king. I suggest you to read it before this one.

Here Morgana isn't Uther's daughter... and now they have a relationship. This story begins the morning after their first night together.

Well, I have to advertise this story contains some parts not recommendable for those who don't like hot scenes as well as for those who aren't properly aged to read them. So if any of these situations apply for you, please do not read. Hum... and if nothing of this applies, be welcome! ;o)

DISCLAIMER – Merlin belongs to BBC, but this plot belongs to me! =)

Chapter 1

Uther was on his bed... Almost waking up, lost in those funny mists that people who are almost awaking or almost falling asleep usually get lost.

Such a strange feeling! A good feeling, but it was still strange. A feeling he hadn't since he was so young... And there were all that strange dreams he had during this night. All of them about his ward, Morgana. Oh, Morgana, so sweet and beautiful... His secret love!

Oh, come on, don't be such a silly old man, Uther! But on his dreams, Morgana was on his bed desiring him. Morgana was holding him and saying she loves him...

Ok, Uther, enough! Who would understand dreams? Well, Gaius would. But of course the king of Camelot would never confess he was having this kind of dream with his young ward... even to Gaius!

He felt the bed was strangely warmer than usual, at this morning... Good. He moved to his side, hearing a sweet moaning. He felt she moves too, snuggling on his body. Wait! She... what...?

Uther opened his eyes just to see Morgana sleeping calmly on his arms. So... at this time it wasn't a dream? He couldn't help but smile. It was a great and shining morning in Camelot!

"Morgana" he whispered trying to control his excitement.

She moaned again, smiling and snuggling on him, making him feels as special as a very young boy who fell in love for the first time.

But they hadn't so much time for this at that moment. They were probably late for breakfast with Arthur.

"Morgana, my dear..." He caressed her dark hair, kissing her softly. Very softly, as if she could disappear if he touches her harder, leaving him alone. "Time to awake..." he kissed her forehead, taking a scent of lavender that was coming from her beautiful dark hair. He smiled more as she opened her eyes. "Good morning!"

"Good morning, Uther!" She said while stretching.

"How do you feel?"

"Painful." She teased and smiled when heard his laugh. "Oh, Uther, I feel incredible! I haven't slept so well in weeks! No nightmares, can you believe it?"

"I'm glad to know it!" He sounded genuinely happy. "You suffer so much with these nightmares, don't you?" He cupped her cheek.

"Yes... I have them almost every night... and they're so real! I can't..."

"We'll deal with them together, Morgana. I promise you." He interrupted her. "Whatever is the cause of your nightmares, I'll be with you and as I've said, you are safe with me."

He kissed her softly, breaking up only to look into her eyes and kiss her again, more intensely at this time. His tongue caressed her lips, and she let him enter promptly. Their tongues were dancing in perfect harmony... When her hands went to his chest, Uther pulled away.

"No, Morgana... not now..."

"Why not, Uther? I know you want this as much as me!"

"You know me so well, Morgana!" He was holding her. "But I'm afraid we're late for now."

"Late?"

"We should be having breakfast with Arthur..." He said removing the covers off and touching her softly, making she gasps. "But I promise you I'll compensate this tonight..."

"You shouldn't have said that... I'll charge you for this, Uther." She said with a fake seriousness in her face.

"I'll be honoured to give you what you want, my lady" The way he said this, looking with his eyes in fire inside of hers, send a shiver through her body. "But for now, breakfast..."

Arthur was sat alone at the table of the great salon. Merlin was standing beside him, looking hungrily to the food.

"You look worried, Arthur." The young warlock decided to start a conversation, since both of them were there for more than 20 minutes.

"Maybe it's because I am worried, Merlin!" He sounded impatient.

"Because everybody is late..."

"Even Guinevere!" Completed Arthur, didn't noticing Merlin's smile.

"As I said..." Merlin started, imprudently continuing that conversation.

"What?"

"It was too early..."

"Merlin, why don't you shut up?" Arthur was furious now.

Merlin smiled and stopped talking. But it was only for a few moments. As usually.

"Arthur!"

"What now, Merlin?" He wasn't even paying any attention to his manservant. Well, on the truth he was. But he was Arthur! He would never admit to be thankful to Merlin because their conversation was making the wait less boring.

"Last night... have you found Morgana?" Merlin was truly worried about her. He admires the way she dares to confront everyone, including Arthur or even the king.

"So are you interested in her?" Arthur looked at Merlin, clearly trying to make the boy shy.

"What?" Merlin smiled and blushed. "No, you're..."

"Merlin, you blushed!" Arthur was really amused.

"No! I'm... I'm worried about her... because she could be in danger and... and she's my friend, it's natural to be worried when a friend disappears..."

"Merlin, I'm clearly more experienced than you... I can understand why you fell in love with her."

"What? But I didn't..."

"Merlin, come on! I know she's so beautiful and has such a fiery personality..." Arthur was talking to him as if Merlin was a very young child profoundly retarded. "But you have to understand she isn't the girl for you!"

"But Arthur, I'm not..."

"You're a good boy, Merlin." Arthur didn't let him finish. "I'm sure you'll find a girl who loves you and..."

Arthur stopped talking when he saw Gwen entering hastily.

"Guinevere!" Arthur called her standing up and forgetting about Merlin or Morgana or even that everybody was late.

"Good morning Arthur" she bowed "good morning Merlin. I'm sorry I'm late..."

"You aren't the only one..." Merlin said.

"Merlin!" Arthur censured him. "My father and Morgana are late too, Guinevere... so I don't think the king will be angry about it."

"Thank you, sir!"

"By the way, I thought Morgana would arrive with you, as she always uses to..."

Gwen didn't know what to answer. She hasn't seen Morgana since the last afternoon. This morning she came as usual to wake her lady up and she found her chambers empty, the bed still done... so she concluded Morgana has been with the king... but of course she wouldn't say this to Arthur!

"Oh... well... today she didn't... sir!"

The door was opened. Morgana and Uther were entering together, both laughing while talking to each other.

"Good morning!" said the king.

"Good morning people!" Morgana had a big smile on her face, what didn't escape from Gwen.

"Morgana" started Arthur "you look so... different." His comment made Uther freeze.

"Don't be ridiculous, Arthur!" Morgana replied trying to show the calm she wasn't feeling. She and Uther have decided wait a little bit before telling Arthur about their relationship.

"I mean... you're so... I don't know... happy."

"Why shouldn't I be happy? It's a beautiful morning..."

"Does your... hum... happiness has something to do with whatever you were doing last night?" Arthur teased.

Surprisingly, Morgana gasped, pouring her juice on the table. In a moment, Gwen was there cleaning and getting Arthur's attention, so he couldn't see the wave of panic on his father face. It lasts just for a moment, but Merlin has noticed it.

"Arthur... I..." For the first time in many years Lady Morgana didn't know what to say.

"Arthur, let Morgana have her breakfast in peace..." Uther helped her, receiving a thankful gaze from his ward.

"Father, you should understand I was worried. Where have you been, Morgana?"

"Arthur, you don't have to be worried about me. I can take care of myself!" Arthur wasn't surprised with her reaction. Such a strong personality! "It was an incredible night..." she said now smiling abstracted while her leg have come to meet Uther's, making the king gasps in surprise. "I couldn't resist a little walk. So Uther found me..."

"Y-yes!"

"Father? Are you ok?" Arthur and the others were surprise to hearing the king gasping.

"I'm perfectly well, Arthur!" Uther recovered his control by holding Morgana's leg when her foot came to rest on his lap. The lady moaned softly, but apart Merlin and Gwen, nobody else had noticed. "I understand you were worried about her, but I'm the king and I'd ensured you she would be safe! Doesn't she looks fine?"

"Of course, sir. I'm sorry."

"I'm more experienced than you! And as your father I have to inform you that protecting a woman is not the same than control all her steps!" Uther concluded the topic.

Arthur was looking down, and gave Merlin a killer look when he heard his servant trying not to laugh.

The day passed tranquilly in Camelot. Too much tranquil in Morgana's opinion. She hasn't saw Arthur or the king since breakfast, and she couldn't wait for being with Uther again. Night has arrived like a release. She was distractedly brushing her hair, already dressing her beautiful white nightdress.

"Excuse me, my lady" Gwen entered and Morgana turned to look at her, finding her friend with a happy smile. "I want to know everything!"

"Gwen, it was amazing!" Morgana smiled too. Since Gwen had been all the day in her activities, they hadn't any chance to talk yet.

"Have you stood there for all the night?" Gwen was so excited.

"Yes!" Morgana confirmed equally excited.

"And have you made...?" Gwen couldn't believe.

"Yes!" Morgana and Gwen were laughing hysterically, like girls usually do when talking about such an interesting new.

"And... was he gentle to you?"

"Very gentle... well, at the beginning he was, but... but then I think both of us got too excited to... you know, to be gentle..." Morgana smirked remembering last night.

"I can see it..." Gwen said noticing a big blue mark on the lady's collarbone. "Morgana, I... I would like to ask something..." Morgana nodded. "You know I don't have anyone to talk about this kind of thing apart you..."

"Gwen..." Morgana embraced her. "I have only you to talk about this too... You're welcome to ask or say whatever you want to."

"Well..." Gwen smiled sweetly and asked "I would like to know if... if it hurts."

"A little bit at the first time" Morgana said "but it lasts just for a moment!" The lady added quickly when she saw the scared face of her maid. "Would you like to try it with Arthur?" She smirked.

"Morgana!" Gwen was really blushed.

"Oh, I was sure you love him!"

"Morgana, don't be insane... he's the prince!"

"And Uther's the king." Morgana said as if they were talking about the weather.

"Yes, but... I'm... I'm just a maid!"

"No. You're a very sweet and special girl. Arthur would be blind if he can't see this." Morgana was serious now. "And I've realized how he looks at you."

"Yes, me too..." Gwen was smiling again, still blushed. "But nothing happened between us!"

"Yet!" Morgana added amused. "And, when it happens... I'll be your mother in law!" Both friends were laughing now.

Uther was coming to Morgana's chambers, feeling as excited as a teenager. His steps were fast, and he had a bunch of flowers on one hand. When he turned a corridor, he saw Arthur coming.

"Father?"

"Hello, Arthur." He didn't know what to say. He would soon tell Arthur about his relationship, but until he doesn't, would the boy meet them in each improper situation?

"Flowers? What...?" Arthur was thinking that really weird. Meet his father in that part of the castle, at that time of night... with flowers?

"I... hum... the flowers are for Morgana."

"Why would you give her flowers?" Arthur was shocked now.

"Well, why not? I was... I was going to check if she's fine and if she's in her chambers..."

"And so you've decided to give her flowers."

"Don't you think she'll like them? Arthur, I know what I'm doing... women like flowers! Have a good night, Arthur!"

"Oh, Gwen..." Morgana started to say with a sweet smile on her face... Arthur was right, she was happy. "I love him so much..."

Gwen was about to comment something, but she was interrupted by someone knocking. When the maid was going to get up, Morgana didn't let her.

"No, Gwen, I open."

She opened the door with a big smile, thinking it was Uther, but...

"Merlin?"

"Surprised?" he had a silly smile on his face.

"No." she lied. "I was... hum..."

"Look, Gaius sent your potion." He gave her a little flask.

"Oh, thank you." She smiled.

"And... Morgana, I'm sorry."

"For what?" she didn't understand what he was apologising for.

"Yesterday night, when I came to bring your potion and I saw you wasn't here I... I thought it could be something wrong... If I knew you had gone just for a walk I wouldn't..."

"That's fine, Merlin..." She smiled. "You're a good friend. And I understand the situation, there's no need to apologise".

"Thank you, Morgana! Good night!"

"Good night, Merlin!"

And Morgana closed the door, turning to face Gwen when he's gone.

"I thought it was Uther..." Morgana explained to Gwen.

"I've realized..." she smiled.

Morgana barely sat near to Gwen when they heard another knock.

"Now it's him!" Morgana was so excited. "I can feel it!" She run to the door and opened it.

"Hello, my dear!" Uther said offering her the flowers and entering in her chambers.

"Oh, what lovely!" She took the flowers. "So the rumours were true..."

"Rumours?" the king looked almost worried.

"Yes, Uther... I've heard the king was picking flowers today."

"Oh!" He smiled. "Yes, that's true."

"My lady." Gwen was beside them, now with her cloak. "If you don't need my help, I'm going..."

"Oh, yes! You can go, Gwen." Morgana went to the door with her.

"Good night, my lady... my lord." She bowed to them.

"Good night, Gwen." Morgana said and added whispering "please, be late tomorrow... very late!"
