Sticking with it
The engine roared as the car's wheels slipped in the thick mud, not finding the slightest traction.
When they'd stumbled into what looked like an abandoned farmhouse to lick their wounds after a wendigo hunt, the last thing they'd expected was to disturb a nest of vampires. A large nest at that.
"Come on, Baby. Don't let me down," Dean urged, running a hand over the dash.
The car lurched forward and sped away.
Sam turned to scowl at their pursuers through the rear window. For now they might make their escape, but come the morning they would be back...

Dean sobbed with relief at the sight of his brother. With the TV on the fritz, he'd been struggling to distract himself from the itch at the end of his nose.
He sighed as Sam obliged. He'd have done it himself, but there was the small case of the full-body traction.
"When I broke my leg, I couldn't bear the itching under the plaster," Sam added, making Dean's skin prickle in sympathy.
"Luckily, I found that scratching the same spot on the other leg helped," Sam continued.
"Oh, thank you," growled Dean, as he glanced down at his twin casts.
