Hi all….life hit hard and I'm finally bouncing back. Wanted to write up a quick little piece and see the reception I get to see if I should write daily like I planned on. Love this couple. It's my latest obsession, probably because this relation is the first time I can see myself portrayed in media. Anyways happy readings. – Ivy

It was a weird feeling being pursued. And that's what Emily was being, pursued. Like a gazelle in an open pasture, Emily's every move was being watched. Every slight inclination of her head was noticed. Every little smile on her lips and hidden twinkle in her eyes was taken in and saved by a pair of dark irises completely unfamiliar but oh so welcoming. Maya was on the hunt and Emily knew it. Knew that the other girl wanted her in ways that passed the borders of friendship and landed in a territory somewhere Emily had once been intimately familiar with. It was an intimidating feeling that left her completely embarrassed but enticingly intrigued all in the same instance.
It was that feeling that Emily was experiencing now, pressed together in the photo booth with the smaller girl's eyes on hers. How easy it would have been to stand and leave the enclosed space, never having to question herself again, but she couldn't have. She was drawn in by the emotion, by the hand lightly cupping her cheek sending her into that spiraling state of anxious, excited, nervous, wonderful fear of the unknown. The inescapable feeling that you shouldn't allow things to be done but by God did you want them to loomed ever present in Emily's mind. All conscious thought was out the window and all that was left was the sensual slide of a thumb along her skin.
The hand gliding tantalizingly slow to the back of her neck, fingers entangling in the strands of her hair, as Maya drew in closer. The sound of the ongoing party fading in the background as Emily's heart beat in her eardrums. All laughter was gone from her face as she looked up at the girl whose intent was obvious. The deliberate pace Maya took with closing in the distance wreaking havoc with Emily's thought process until the space was shortened enough for Emily to smell the hint of fruit from the other girl's lip gloss. Only an inch of space was left between them when her pursuer's eyelids fluttered closed, leaving Emily too lost in the moment to realize that she had been the one to initiate the actual kiss.
Slight pressure. A flash of light. Heads pushing delicate lips closer together as a hand helped to pull in one to the other, and it was over. Lips separating for a pause as Maya's eyes opened again to see Emily exhale heavily. She was caught.
Haven't written fiction in a while and sadly it shows. :/ Was thinking of making a chapter story or a few one-shots for Emaya and maybe finishing older stories. What do you guys think? Hang it up or do some more? Thanks again for reading- Ivy
