"Cause of death?" A tall brown haired male said, his bright blue eyes scanning over the corps of the young, long white haired boy in front of him.
"A large wound at the back of his skull, suggests blunt force trauma, poor kid. I knew him, only 15…" A tanned 18 year old male with sandy blond hair says his lavender eyes filled with sadness.
The detective with brown hair sighed "you know his name"? He asked looking at his case partner, Mariku. The blond nodded "Ryou Touzoku, his mother and sister died when he was 6 and then his father committed suicide 3 days later leaving his brother, Akefia Touzoku, to care for him." The detective wrote this all down "Enemies?" The blond shook his head "too sweet to have any, as harmless as a butterfly. People nicknamed him Kitten" Mariku adds "I'll... Examine the body and then question his brother, Seto".
"Agreed..."
The simplest question you could ask a suspect was 'did you kill him?' But this brought rage to Ryou's brother, Akefia. "You think I killed him?! Who DARE you even think I would even harm my brother, Mariku?! You know me; I wouldn't do anything to harm a hair on his head!" The white haired, tanned male shouted at the blond haired one, tears falling from his eyes. The blond sighed and walked to him, placing a hand on his shoulder in a comforting gesture "I know you didn't kill him, Akefia" he whispers. "But I think I know who did..." Mariku says softly "one second" he leaves the room and comes back with a file "here... The 'Pharaoh' was one of your enemies, correct," the Touzoku nodded "he wanted revenge right," another nod "do you know where he lives?"
A knock. A thump. A shout. A hiss. And a click. "Mr. Mouto, you're under arrest for suspicion of the murder of Ryou Touzoku! You have the right to remain silent, anything you say can and will be held against you in a court of law. You also have the right to an attorney, if you are unable to afford one, the court shall provide one for you... Do you understand your right"? Mariku held the 'Pharaoh's' hands behind his back, handcuffed. "I didn't do anything! You have NO proof"! He growls with a yell.
Someone chuckled "that's where your wrong," Seto stepped forward "your finger-prints were found all over Ryou Touzoku's body AND the murder weapon. Mariku examined his body and then found the baseball bat, covered in Ryou's blood and your finger-prints" something flared in Seto's eyes "you thought you had it figured out... And you even had a motive... Your Akefia's worst enemy and what better way to get to him then killing his brother?" He looks at Mariku "take him away" he says. "Oh... And Mariku?" He asks, the blond turning to look at him "yes, sir"? He asks, tilting his head, as a smile appeared on Seto's lips "remind me to give you a raise" Mariku beamed "Yes, Sir"! He gladly shoves the 'Pharaoh' into the back of the police vane and another member, one with long black hair and green eyes. Later that day the 'Pharaoh' was convicted of Ryou's death and was sentenced to life in jail.

One month later Mariku walked through a graveyard to 5 tomb stones. With five flowers in hand Mariku kneeled by the graves with tears in his eyes. The stones said who was buried 'Alice, Shimon, Amane and Ryou Touzoku' he placed a flower on each grave and then turned to the fifth one which read ~Here lays Akefia Touzoku, loving Brother and Son~ Mariku sniffed as a clear tear dropped on the blood red rose he was holding, Akefia's favorite, and placed it on his grave. Yes, Akefia had taken his life 2 weeks after his little brother's death. Mariku read the last part out loud "Goodnight, sweet Prince... And may a flight of angels sing thee to thy rest..."
