Author's Note: Okay a short one shot here! I'm risking my life to type this on my brother's computer, I really hope mine gets fixed soon. I'm working on the next chapter for New Love for Max? Not sure when I can post it.
"I can't believe were doing this." I muttered quietly to Fang. "Hey, you agreed to it." he whispered in my ear, making me shiver.
"Uh, well you know I can't resist those damn Bambi Eyes." I said. He smirked at me and turned back to the game.
I guess I should explain. The Flock decided they wanted to go see a hockey game. I was all for saying no but then Angel, Gazzy, Nudge and Iggy all gave me Bambi eyes at once and I couldn't say no. SO here I am watching sweaty guys skate along on ice pushing a little black thing around.
"I have to pee!" announced Angel suddenly. "I'll go with you." Nudge volunteered. The two girls left after a warning from me to be careful.
Not even ten seconds later Gazzy spoke up. "I want nachos!" "Me too, let's go." Iggy agreed. Then they left leaving me a lone with Fang. "They're probably up to something." I said to Fang. He shrugged.
Then one of the teams called a time out and the players skated off the ice. I looked up at the big scoreboard hovering over the ice. They always showed something cool during breaks in the game. Suddenly pink lights were flashing everywhere and two words popped up on the screen: Kiss Cam!
I laughed as a camera whizzed around the stadium and targeting couples to make them kiss on camera. Then suddenly the two people looked familiar? Oh my God! Fang and I were on the stupid Kiss Cam! I looked over at him, an expression of horror on his face only to see his emotionless mask in place.. I looked back at the screen, we were still there, the camera wasn't moving anymore it was focused on us. Then the crowd started chanting: "Kiss him! Kiss him! Kiss him!" Oh geez, I was so not gonna kiss Fang!
He looked over at me and I stared at his handsome face. Well, I guess if it will make the camera go away, we were supposed to be laying low and being on camera for any length of time wasn't good. So I leaned forward and pressed my lips to his hesitantly. But, what started as a short peck turned into a passionate make out session.
I am such an idiot, lying to myself, trying to tell myself I wasn't hopelessly in love with the bird boy in front of me. When we broke apart the crowd was already refocused on the game, the camera was off us. It was already 5 minutes past when the time out started. Wow, we kissed for a while. Also, there in front of us, stood the Flock, all with identical grins on their faces. "I totally knew my plan would work!" Nudge squealed. "You planned this?" I said, my eyes wide in shock. All four of them nodded in sync...wow creepy. But, I wasn't mad, I finally realized I loved Fang. I looked over at him.
"I love you." We both said at the same time. I smiled at him as he smirked and pressed his lips to mine once again.
